Nvidia Ti4200 (for like a day, was hot as hell) 2003

ATI 4850 512MB (has overheated in most 3d games I've played, been playing older games because of this. Currently on its way...
I just bought a 6950; although I've had issues with ATI's drivers over the years, it's been lessened by the fact I play maybe 1 or 2 new games a year. I'd hate to experience what you've went through OP, it wouldn't take me long to just send it back for a different card.
Thanks man, I've finally figured out with my new computer my Windows partition is only 30GB so I can put a few games on it and still come to less than the 55~ usable GB one of these drives has. In for 1.
I've been running a Q6600/4850 512 MB setup for a couple years or so. Recently I upgraded to a I-760 and I need a new video card that compliments the 30" dell I got for super cheap from an estate sale.
I honestly haven't really been much of a PC gamer through the years. About the only games I...
Laughing that I get to play with new computer parts 3-12 months earlier than not upgrading until the new architectures, all while getting rid of my upgrade itch and not losing money like I would going with an I5/I7? Not my idea of funny but w/e, glad to make the world a happier place.
My Q6600...
I'm going to part out my Q6600 system and for a minimal to no cost difference I'm thinking about buying a midrange AMD system. I've never gotten great clocks on my Q6600 and I'd like to upgrade to SSD, Windows 7, and I just bought a new case so I'm thinking of going this route until I can see...
Superbiz has done this at least 3 times in the past couple months on this drive alone. I think they try to get it out there at that magical $50 "cheapest price ever" area and then raise it a couple bucks once it's on all the deal sites. Kinda sleazy of them imo.
Damnit, I wish I would have waited on my dads Christmas gift. He would have loved the hell out of this and now I'm too broke to get it, even for his bday.
So you would just toss a benchmark if you don't like the result? Seems pretty damn shady; glad reviewers tend to have more credibility than your average Joe.
Sapphire sure as heck isn't top tier. Crap CS and charges for RMAs. Also, XFX has has some pretty crappy CS lately for quite a few users over on OCN. Only 2 companies I'd feel safe about going with are EVGA and Asus. Galaxy is working it's way into the top tier as long as they keep their great...
The bottom slot on the Sabertooth is a PCIE 1.x x16 slot, meaning it runs at 2.x x8 speeds.
I can't tell if the P6X58D-E's top x1 PCIE slot would have issues with the boards heatsinks getting in the way of a sound card. If so, the Sabertooth is really your only option. I'd go with the...
I'd go with one of these 3 MBs:
ASUS P6X58D-E
Pros: Board has been out awhile so more stable. Relatively cheap. Slot layout good for either PCI or PCIE expansion cards when using 2 GPUs.
ASUS Sabertooth
Pros: 5yr warranty
Cons: Poor PCI slot placement for expansion card /w 2 GPUs...
Mistakes are a sign of a shitty company. QC is there to not have mistakes, so I'd be pretty damn pissed too. Funny who comes out of the woodwork when you start bitching about Gigabyte, pretty damn fishy.
Probably for the same reason that it's on dozens of website forums.
This place is turning into the inquirer with all the speculation, it's even moving into the articles themselves.
