I dunno.... On newegg its $89+shipping so I doubt its been hovering at 70 or even 80. There was a quick deal a while back for $64 via amazon -- and its been dead a while.

Newegg would have surely matched it like ALL of their other items' pricing.

I meant on amazon its stayed around that price, I don't know why it was so cheap, or more expensive else where but I remember for at least a month after I bought it was at that price.

You're evil OP.

I bought the combo with the 2009 Star Trek BD for $10 more. $70 shipped

I'll admit, I've never watched any of the original Star Treks, but I really liked the 2009 film.
My wife loves them.

If anyone wants to know about the blu-ray quality I thought all of the blu-rays looked better than dvd except one of them looked the same, I believe it was the first one but I don't remember since it's been a while since I watched them.

I picked up movies 1,2, and 3 in a blu-ray disk set a while back.. but this is a good deal.. I am sure some of the transfers to hi-def won't be spectacular but oh well... the wrath of kahn blu-ray disk I got looks really nice.. but the search for spock looks grainy... that movie kind of sucked anyways.. lolz

Some on Amazon complains that in the Blu-Ray set, only Wrath of Khan was remastered; the rest were digitally degrained and passed off as hi-def material. caveat emptor.

When the deal is over, who will volunteer to chime in, "He's dead, Jim"?

Damnit, I wish I would have waited on my dads Christmas gift. He would have loved the hell out of this and now I'm too broke to get it, even for his bday.
