I would rma it. That should not happen and I dont think your doing anything wrong. Or better yet see the retailer where it was purchased so you can possibly get return shipping paid and get a new one as replacement.

Nice review. It peaked my interest when I was looking at 6950s recently on newegg. Although at the time it was in stock. wish the warranty was a little bit longer though.

andrew, The one I just received had 1 spot like that in a similar location. I decided to keep it and did in fact use a sharpie. Did not want to bother with possibly getting another one and the replacement being worse. It was only 1 spot just like yours.

remove plug, use your 8 pin power plug. the 4 is only covered for older psu without the 8.

Id like to purchase one of these from newegg today. It says model CC650DW-1. Is this the one with the new fan controller itself or does it have the fix in place on top of the old fan controller that buzzed?

The white special edition has the window and the new 1000rpm fans like what are on the 650D. Thats the only differences. The 600t in graphite has the 800rpm fans.

There is not much to pick from really. Gigabytes offerings do not offer a vga output. That leaves the Asrock Extreme4 and the Asus P8Z68-V Pro.

Well you probably know this maybe not, but ivy bridge, the 22nm die shrink, will be LGA1155 compatible. But we may not see these till next year. I have not seen any leaks or anything to indicate any higher clocked sandy bridge processors are coming.

It runs cool and it makes less noise than stock config cards. one of the reasons I bought my current msi card.

the e2370v is not 120. So there is a good chance this one will not be as well. Also this panel is available from amazon as a pre-order for 439. It is IPS, just not 120. If you check the manual for this display at LG it also lists 60, yet the spec sheet lists 120. Not sure wtf is going on at...
