Just got mine from B&H(april order date) shipped on 7/3/14
Manufactured date was May 2014
here's mine with 10 brightness cinema mode, just wondering what's the consensus regarding the orange glow on the bottom left is it back light bleed or ips glow? does mine warrant a return...
Dont understand all the hate,I saw the post not as bragging, but as a look at what's possible type deal.
He's obviously not intending to show it as a final set up(to brag about it)
He's probably scrounging parts together and likely having to borrow monitors to tinker around with multi monitor...
"Supposedly" from what Ive read,it only works in SLI ,because one card will drive 2 monitors, and the second card will drive the third monitor.
Dont know if that's what you were asking though:P

@jamhamm,
have you looked into removing bezels from those 2007's?(how easy it would be or and more importantly how much if any bezel/edge is left)
I'm wondering if wouldn't make an affordable 5x1 portrait(when the eyefin 5870 six port card is released)or even 3x2 landscape solution.
Thanks
And to be honest I did too, when I used to see screenshots of matrox triplehead2go users
on widescreengamingforum :)
The proof of the pudding is in the eating they say
I think this(bezel)issue and the eyefinity wonky-ness with all the DP related issues are the two biggest detriments to people...
Hopefully the dp ~ vga adapter works for you,but in case it doesn't and dont mind pouring over pages of users problems(possible solutions) www.widescreengamingforum.com
has some threads on the subject that may possibly help

I don't own the game(haven't tried any fix obviously) but I found this

Still need to hear more, canceled 2x 5970 to wait to see more about the Fermi,or wait for the 5870 six edition,I'll probably pick up whichever of the two releases first.
Supposedly Nvidia's surround will only work with (at least?) 2 cards since it will have one card handle the left and center monitor's display and the second card will handle the right display, using something like it's "Quadro Plex" technology...
fwiw
Dave Baumann an ATI rep that's kind enough(and brave?:P) to post regularly on widescreengamingforum.com insists that the card's official name is :
"The full name of the 6 DP board is "ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition"...
it's might be ATI's (temporary) answer to fermi's (rumored to have 1.5 - 2gb) maybe ATI is waiting a bit until more solid fermi info is released/or the card itself is released.
Other than a write up about it on a foreign site...
I honestly hear about as much if not more(uninformed?) disdain over it as much as the hype.
Imo, it's a legitimate increase (for games at least) in immersion factor,to warrant the amount of interest that's left after eliminating the excessive hype and ignorance towards it.

I was >< this close to buying 2 5970's,canceled them to wait on the 5870 6 port edition
now nVidia has me listening to how they'll offer up their multi monitor deal( connection required, resolutions allowed, configurations etc)
guess this is the effect(nvidia) wanted on customers on the fence...
there's still quite a few issues it seems,at least on particular games,less/not on others
there's some info talk about it here
