I didn't see any benefit for me unless your going for a big OC (higher multiplier) so I went witth the i7 930. Hoping the LGA 1336 socket will allow for me to upgrade to a faster processor in a year or two without having to buy a new motherboard.

Upgraded my Q9550 to a i7 with this board last week. Seems to be a pretty good board. My only complaints are things I knew about before purchasing (No PATA, Only 1 PCI slot which is unusable if you are running a big graphics card in the top slot)

I'd say call EA and ask to have the CD Key info reset. Don't know if they will but it's probably your only shot.

I just got back from vacation and my computer isn't showing any signs of power. I checked: -switch (my DFI has a switch on it) -psu is on -tried dif cord/outlet. my guess so far is psu... i'm going to ask my dad if he has a 480-500W to power my AMD 64 well my light isn't coming...

How good would this be for gaming? If I can only run a game in 1024x768 is there a lower resolution that I could run for it? Comp Specs are in sig. I play BF2, CoD2, NFS MW, CS Source, DoD Source. Would be upgrading from a 17" KDS Flatscreen (not panel) CRT.

It works fine... It should last a long time. I haven't noticed a huge difference in performance but I like getting the best bang for my buck. FWIW, I bought it when it FIRST came out, eVGA had a sale. Free CoD2 w/ 6800GS Purchase so really I only paid $149 for it. I upgraded from a 6600 GT...

I have the 6800 GS. I've been running 500 core, 1200 memory I've had it for 2 months. It handles BF2 and NFS Most Wanted quite well. I can run NFS Most Wanted Full Settings. DFI nF4 Ultra-D AMD 64 3800+ (@ 2.4ghz, stock) 2x512 DDR 400 OCZ EL Gold 6800 GS

Its a nice card, I jumped on it for $199 + ship w/ free CoD 2 when it first came out. Overclocking is decent I guess, I have mine at 500 / 1100 with no problems. Temperature is 45* with ~5 firefox tabs on, firefox, aim,xfire,steam, etc.

well that still doesn't explain it being unstable with only one stick... maybe ill try slots 2 and 4 then up the voltage... after that im going to probably order a gig of OCZ EL DDR400 and if that don't help im RMAin the mobo and maybe the vid card... I'll go with a MSI Neo4 or AS US maybe.

no haven't tried upin voltage.... i tried slot 1 and slot 2... then had 512 in slot one.

if the link isn't working goto newegg.com and type "OCZ Premier Value" I have the 2x512 for about 80 bucks. I took my RAM over to my brothers and we put it in I think bios detected it at 160mhz??!?1 but it ran FEAR single player demo fine and whatnot. I've also tried runnin my computer...

I just purchased the DFI nF4Ultra-D. I hooked it up but was having issues with the reformat... Decided my "no name" 400w 20pin w/ 24 converter power supply wasn't gettin it enough juice. So I ordered the Antec Sonata II w/ 450w Antec PSU. Now it has reformatted and I am posting from it now...
