I just got back from vacation and my computer isn't showing any signs of power.

I checked:

-switch (my DFI has a switch on it)
-psu is on
-tried dif cord/outlet.

my guess so far is psu... i'm going to ask my dad if he has a 480-500W to power my AMD 64

well my light isn't coming on on the power switch on my mobo ( I believe theres a light... right?) so i think its safe to say the psu went... It looks like newegg will let me RMA it for the same thing. Too bad I have to send the case back as well....

Here's the specs FWIW.

AMD x64 2.4ghz
DFI Nf4 Ultra-D
eVGA 6800 GS
Audigy 2
2x 512 OCZ EL Gold
250 GB IDE
60 GB IDE

Antec Sonota II Case -450 W "Smart Power" PSU

There's only 1 120mm case fan... Is that PSU big enough for it? Ran fine for the 8 month's I've had it. Wondering if I should order a new one.. I'm going to call Newegg tom and see if I can send just the PSU and keep the case.

Ordered a OCZ Powerstream 600W, Hope that'll fix it. FWIW, It's 89.99 After MIR at Tigerdirect.com

I have several antec cases with the smaller 350 psu's and had a couple of them go. Antec's rma dept was fairly quick for me and IMO was easier to work with than newegg on a return.

While giving your psu head will make it happy and smoke a cig after, it wont fix it. Oh wait you meant blown...
