This happened to me and after alot of googling found it has happened to quite alot of people. I used Recuva to get them back, had to do a clean install of Vista after I recovered my files though.

You mean X64. X86 is 32bit and X64 is 64bit so X86-64 is impossible:p

Turned out to be an updated driver for my onboard LAN that Windows Update gave me. I rolled back to the driver that Vista installed when I installed Vista and it works fine. Thanks for the help though guys.

Bit of a strange one this. First time I put Vista (Ultimate) on I used the upgrade option from XP, everything worked fine including my downloads. My HDD failed so I replaced it and clean installed Vista. Now my downloads are very slow and hang all the time. I get around 40k for about 10...

Usually do my own thing if snipering, always look out for enemy snipers more than all other enemies though.

Just built an FX57 7800GTX Gamer Edition SLI rig with an Asus A8N-SLi Premium nForce4 SLi mb for my mate and it is one of the easiest and stable overclockers I have used :D Pity I have to give it my mate tomorrow :(

Not all cards display what it is at boot, depends if it is in the cards BIOS. Not sure why it is hanging booting up though. What power supply do you have?

You really need over a gig of RAM to play on Ultra settings without getting any pauses, I have 2gig and it never pauses.

All details maxed in 1600x1200 no AA or AF. 137fps.

I can play it easily in 1600x1200, do not know what id was on about when they said 512meg GFX cards only.

I have been using the 65.62s since they first appeared with no probs at all. A 2fps increase in Doom 3 Timedemo and an extra 100 points in 3DMark03.

Maybe your system temps are rising and causing your GFX card to get too hot.

Like foofighter06 posted the reason we would like to loop the demo is to check system stability for overclocks etc. and it would be cool.

No you cannot find your key from the installation disk, your best contacting the publisher of the game.

If enough people suffer with bad MP performance surely id will release a patch to sort it out.

I am running in 1600x1200 Ultra settings and get an average of 35fps. P4 3gig HT @3.6gig 2gig OCZ Gold PC4000 GeForce FX5950Ultra Stock Speeds and Forceware 61.77s Next week my 6800Ultra will arrive, cannot wait to see what FPS I get then :D

First 10min was not sure but an hour in it is everything I hoped for. The game rocks :D
