If you're big enough, you can split off little balls of yourself into those green spikey cells using W. They grow and then split in the direction you were shooting at. If you position and time it right, you can force the bigger cells to split.
There's no way this ISN'T a pricing error. I tried to add it to my cart just now to reserve but it's giving me "Removed items that are inactive or no longer available."
Not all stores will have it in stock and available for you to pick up immediately. Some stores will take payment, then have the phone shipped to the store which they will then ship to your address. That's how it was explained to me, anyhow. Call the stores in your area and find out which ones...
Had an M4A77TD paired with a Phenom X2 back in 2011. Unlocked the other 2 cores and overclocked to 4.0 ghz easy peasy. Still running on the backup PC to this day.
If you find the modding process to be intimidating, there's a guide posted on reddit that's very helpful. It goes over how to setup your game/files to make modding go smoother, and what utilities you'll need before even getting to the visual mods, such as memory management tools.
The Kraken is so damn overpowered. One time a Kraken player got to stage 3 in under 5 minutes and destroy us in less than 10 seconds. Another time one got to stage 2 and still completely wreck the team. It's practically impossible to beat all the ranged stuns/knockbacks, which also temporarily...
I got owned pretty hard even at stage three on my first time as monster. I see a lot of monster players who don't take advantage of the cliffs enough to properly get away from the hunters. Or prioritize the right targets. One guy kept on beating on the trapper while I kept healing and the others...
My favorite moment of the alpha happened as a monster. I was only stage 1 and I was already fighting the hunters, locked inside the arena. I didn't try to fight, but crouched and hid inside a bush. I escaped the arena with barely any shield damage, got to stage 3 and wrecked 'em :D...
Some things I see when reading about the game and SOE's vision
-thousands of players on one server
-resource collecting and base building
-potential for commerce (trade/bartering at least)
-potential to be part of large groups of allies
IMO it sounds kind of like EVE but on land with zombies...
It would appear to be so. Which is great, because I'm in the same boat you were in. I bought the game and all DLC on steam sale for $10 and then just let it sit there. Started playing it yesterday and also a few hours into it, and I'm enjoying the gameplay more than GTA5. The combat is more...
Sort of. Depends if you're willing to buy weapons with money instead of cert. points, spending the certs on class/weapon upgrades. Certain classes within the factions really benefit from, if not really need, weapons from the store (ex. TR and VS snipers). You don't need to be at a super high...
I tested an NC EM1 on the VR using soft ammunition. Against a heavy assault it takes 7 shots using soft point ammo compared to 8 without it at close range. I'd rather use the 100 certs on something else, since the difference between the two is negligible, IMO. Because of server latency I always...
I was playing as TR that night. It was during ops for my outfit (the enclave) so we were there from the start of the battle until the TR pushed out again. Admittedly, the TR got a bit lucky with the server having to restart and boot everyone off. At first, our last piece of territory was Valley...
If you plan on using vehicles, especially air, then yeah you're way better off paying for the weapons. For infantry combat, the stock weapons are pretty good when you put certs into attachments. A lot of the infantry weapons that you buy are situational, with only a few that are really upgrades...
I play on Mattherson where a lot of the big outfits are. I'm in the Enclave, and we play at 7pm which is considered "prime time," when server population tends to peak. If you want to play in a teamwork environment where people use their mics, join an outfit.
If you play TR on Mattherson, I...
Rendering is still an issue. New weapon sounds are MUCH improved, imo. The new annihilator mechanic is pretty cool so far. The new spawn rooms seem promising, though I haven't played enough to see how they affect base caps.
I can't wait to warpgate lock the VS like we did with the NC pre-patch.
Some of the best music I've ever heard came from video games.
To add to the list of great video game OSTs, here's one:
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - the orchestral music played in this game made AC5 one of my all time favorite games.
If you're on Matherson, there's the Prox12 outfit. There's usually a platoon playing anytime I get on, and they're pretty good about keeping players together and getting squads to do stuff.
What server/faction are you? I play on Jaeger as NC and Mattherson as VS and I got into an outfit on each pretty quickly. On the platoon tab I'd look for platoon squads and play for a while and ask to be invited into the outfit. Granted, they were both openly recruiting, but I don't play enough...
These days I just watch people stream themselves playing recently released games on twitch, and I decide from there whether or not I want to buy the game.
