Some sage advice for those who haven't to make things smoother:
-Use an alternate UI. I use ADW launcher and it's more lightweight and smoother than the stock motoblur UI.
-Appkiller is key. You can tag apps that can be killed without consequence and then every time you touch the widget on...
There's a sweet arcade here in Lansing, MI called Pinball Pete's that's still going strong after all these years. Switched from a shopping center to directly on MSU campus, and while I think it lost some luster when it moved, it's still a sweet arcade. Good mix of old school and newer machines...
Here's another storefront clearancing them, free shipping on $25 or more:

Man did I hate those older Compaq towers with the daughterboard schema. I've still got one of those around here somewhere... Also have a PII Compaq slim client shoved in a closet as well.
Got this today for the 360. Awesome so far, combat is really engaging and the graphics are, while spotty here and there, very good. It's definitely worth picking up right now.
I'll be grabbing all 3 on the 360. Really, if I can play it on the Xbox 360 anymore, I do, and if it only comes out on the PC, then that's where I play it. Just a matter of where most of my friends are playing their games.
Fallout 3. I played the crap out of Oblivion, and this looks to be way more robust. I'm still getting Fable 2, but I'm still more giddy for Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3.
I picked this game up for the 360 today, so YMMV on some things...
I honestly really like the game. While I'll admit that the game has issues, most of which being technical, it's still very good. The pacing and variation is enough to keep your interest, and while the combat isn't the best (at...
I've had this for a week now and it's pretty decent. The biggest gripe I have with it is that no matter what you do, you can't replace the emulators in the folders with newer versions. I've tried many different ways of doing so, and they all result in an error. However, most of the programs are...
I'm picking it up on 360. I've played through HL2 so many times that I might as well get achievement points this time through. Not to mention I want to play my buds in some TF2 over Live.
Personally, I like Oblivion because it's very fulfilling to play.
So I'm having a very ADD day and I can't stick to one story... Thats fine, I'll just go do some dungeon looting or random questing, Then, if I'm in the mood for something long, I can stick with some longer, more rewarding...
The game itself is great. The port? Not so much. I ended up breaking down and getting a wired 360 controller, and it's been much smoother sailing. Controlling this game with the keyboard is such a mistake.
You should be fine, but it might be good to call just in case.

This game is friggen awesome! I've heard a lot of complaints around the net that it's just Forza with a new coat of paint, but I have to disagree. Quite a few of the changes force you to accomplish as much as you can, which is...
I've put a lot of time into Oblivion on guilds and quests alone, but I had to push myself to finish up the main quest. Closing gates just sucked and wasn't as much fun as some of the tasks you had to do on the side. The main quest for Shivering Isles is much, much better and is a heck of a lot...
The huge push is the Live for Windows platform, which is mainly a Vista thing. This is the same thing Shadowrun is going into, since the 360 version will launch at the same time as the PC version.
I just installed a Tuniq in my new build today, and I was surprised how well the base looked. You could tell it was machined, but it was pretty smooth.
Dayton Audio subwoofers are always good on a lower budget:

I'm using the previous model from the one I linked, and it's been going strong for about a year and a half.
Werd. I don't doubt that it's coming to the 360 from what Kojima's been saying, but I doubt that it's going to be here first. I'm expecting a revised version, ala Substance.
Should've mentioned that the hard drive for this system is coming out of my current build (300gb Maxtor). The external is something I've been putting off for way too long.
As far as the price cuts, I've been waiting an eternity and a half for this upgrade, and I haven't touched Shivering...
Just got the federal back, so when I get my paycheck this upcoming Friday, I'll hopefully be ordering the new parts. Here's what it looks like:

So yeah, if anyone's got...
I just ordered these not too long ago:

Work great, haven't had a bad burn in the bunch. Great stuff for cheap media.
