Its nice. Im using in in a test environment , monitoring all DC's , exchange , and sql. It will also accept wc3 logs from ISA and syslog' s. Its a nice package

We have 2 of these set up in active-active failover using 2 different internet connections, 1 fiber, 1 t1. Works great. Their support is good. You dont have to use bgp on your border routers. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have used this for a few years now. It works well, i use it to monitor servers, network equipement, services etc. It works well, its easy to set up, reporting is good. They have a free trial and it fairly inexpensive. I thing its around $1000 per 500 ip's.

We have a bunch of these deployed for non core infrastructure needs. Tech support is foreign based. Watch how many firmware updates they release in a month. I only wish you could span more than one port. The web interface is nice. 5 yr warranty.

Can you give some reasons for applying sp2 on the fe server first? We run a fe be environment, and are considering sp2 soon. We installed it on our test enviroment on our be server first just the other day. We have yet to install on the fe. Im curious about this. Thanks!

we use it on over 100 nodes. It is very customizible. you can restart services, reboot servers, etc.
I just starting usingit on all our portables so i can track when they are plugged in. this way we can scan them for av/ms updates, etc.

who are you protecting this from and what are they using the pc for? is it an AD environment?
