Is Valorant the only game so far to require TPM 2.0/Secure Boot on Windows 11? Does it also require an 8th gen or later CPU?

While I don't play Valorant (and after hearing about how intrusive it's anti-cheat is, never will), the fact that it requires this kind of stuff for it's anti-cheat if you're playing on Windows 11 worries me that other games might start enforcing such requirements too in the future. A big part...

Need to replace my PC's Xbox360 controller, are there any with six face buttons?

Yeah, I know about that one. Issue is the triggers are not analog. I think the beta versions when it was first announced might have had them (as well as bigger analog sticks) like shown in post #7 here, but the final version removed that and now it just has digital triggers and very very tiny...

Need to replace my PC's Xbox360 controller, are there any with six face buttons?

The controller I use for my PC, a wired Xbox360 controller, has seen better days. But I am reluctant to just replace it with a modern Xbox controller (especially since I don't like wireless... and they are expensive). I was wondering, are there any controllers similar to the Xbox360 controller...

I was told not to use the correct size pads for my RTX 2060S/2080S? Also need fans.

It's mostly the 2080 that runs hot, the 2060 only runs hot with the cover on the case closed.. hitting 80C while it's around 70C with the cover off. I am going to fix that problem by cutting a hole for a fan in the case's side panel. But the case my 2080 is in has a LOT of airflow (Cooler Master...

I was told not to use the correct size pads for my RTX 2060S/2080S? Also need fans.

My card only has two fans, what do you mean by NNL made by the way? That they are third party? Is that why the fins don't have the EVGA logo all over them? When I asked for help on the EVGA subreddit.

I was told not to use the correct size pads for my RTX 2060S/2080S? Also need fans.

I was considering the K5 Pro, but there have been a lot of newer reviews and videos lately that it's actually a very bad idea to use that stuff.

I was told not to use the correct size pads for my RTX 2060S/2080S? Also need fans.

I have a 08G-P4-3062-KR (EVGA RTX 2060 Super SC Black ACX 3.0) and a 08G-P4-3081-KR (EVGA RTX 2080 SUPER Black) For the 2060, the fan sometimes makes a grinding noise (Shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLUOB9xM-5E ) and the noise gets louder if I touch the card. I was told that the...

Grinding noise coming from my GPU

The problem if I need to replace the fan is even finding a decent replacement. Like I said I have only been able to find them on eBay which are very likely used and pulled out of a card... yet cost as much as a high-end Noctua fan... or are from sketchy looking sites named things like...

Grinding noise coming from my GPU

The shroud? So it's just the outside cosmetic plastic casing that the fan is hitting against? If that's the case, can I just sand down the edge of the shroud that the fan is hitting against a little?

Grinding noise coming from my GPU

There is a noise coming from my RTX 2060 Super, and I am starting to get worried if the fans are going. When I first got it the fans would constantly while it was idle be off, then suddenly speed up, then go off, and repeat over and over. The noise drove me nuts, so I """fixed""" it by using...

Are there any recommended M.2 NVME/SATA docks? (Not Enclosures)

There are several listed on Amazon that do exactly that, I even have enclosures that do that. Issue is I don't know which of the docks on Amazon are any good, all of them are from brands I never heard of and I have no idea what chipsets they use.

Are there any recommended M.2 NVME/SATA docks? (Not Enclosures)

I think there is some confusion, I don't mean I want to connect standard SATA drives, as in the 2.5 and 3.5 form factor ones, I meant one that will accept both M.2 NVME and M.2 SATA drives.

Are there any recommended M.2 NVME/SATA docks? (Not Enclosures)

I am looking for a M.2 dock that preferably accepts both M.2 NVME and SATA drives. I tried to Google about it but all the results were for enclosures, I am not looking for an enclosure but a device similar to a HDD dock that will just let me quickly plug a M.2 drive in/out of it. Preferably, one...

Are there no options left for people in the US to get a quality thermal pad for their GPU?

These? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WKRT7WP I know that's a small pad, but it's pretty cheap IMO. The Gelid one I was trying to get cost twice as much as that for an even smaller overall area (85x45 vs 120x20). Unless I once again fell for a 3rd party bootleg reseller. And despite their claim...

Are there no options left for people in the US to get a quality thermal pad for their GPU?

This has been a wild ride, and I am utterly confused. My GPU is overheating in some of my systems and I am going to re-pad and re-paste it, I am not expecting miracles but every little bit can help and I wanted to get good pads to replace the stock ones on this cheap OEM card. It only has two...

GPU upgrade for my Dell Precision T3610 causes reboots

The old GPU was a Quadro, the drivers would not even work on the Geforce class of GPUs, but I completely cleaned them out anyway. Never had issues with wiping drivers for GPU upgrades before. But yes, I used DDU in safe mode, and when I reinstalled the drivers I did it with the ethernet plug...

GPU upgrade for my Dell Precision T3610 causes reboots

Well great, it JUST happened again, and this time the RTX2060 isn't even in my system! I swapped it out temporarily for a GT720 until I can figure this out about a week ago. I thought for sure it was the RTX2060 since the day I installed it my system would crash within roughly 24 hours, at most...

Worried I might be overloading my fan headers

So should I get a three-way fan splitter to plug into the 92mm fan instead of daisy-chaining splitters off the built-in splitter in the 92mm fan? Or is the difference going to be so small that it's better not to spend that extra money?

Worried I might be overloading my fan headers

I kind of am. The Arctic fans include a plug to connect a second fan to them, and I only have dual fan splitters. Basically I will plug the Arctic 92mm fan into the header, and then a splitter into that 92mm fan, one will go to the 120mm, and the other will go to another splitter for both 60mm...

Want to Repaste/Pad my HP OEM 2060 Super, can't find instructions or photos/videos on disassembly

I was wondering if it was a thing where 3rd parties make replacement fans, but seems like it's not. I will just keep the fan then if I can't replace it with a better one. I was able to measure them, they are 2mm thick.

Ok, so I finally took the card apart. Going to re-paste and re-pad it, but now I am wondering if I should replace the fan too if that's feasable/affordable. I took it apart and saw this: Is that paste application normal? I know that you ruin the paste once you take the heatsink off and...

Want to Repaste/Pad my HP OEM 2060 Super, can't find instructions or photos/videos on disassembly

Yeah, I know I can easily get power to a fan from the currently unused (for now) extra SATA connector I have, the issue with that is it will jus run at max speed.... or with some kind of potentiometer just at one set speed. The consumer or the enterprise models though? This is a xeon-based...

Want to Repaste/Pad my HP OEM 2060 Super, can't find instructions or photos/videos on disassembly

Yeah, I am sure I can jury-rig something up, especially if I remove that case intrusion switch. Not sure how much just adding a single small rear exhaust fan will help though. I was considering something below the GPU too, but that might hurt more than help. And a side-fan which could help a...

Want to Repaste/Pad my HP OEM 2060 Super, can't find instructions or photos/videos on disassembly

That's the thing, it's not a rear fan MOUNT, it's just a rear grill. There are no holes to mount a fan. Nor are there any spare fan headers on the motherboard. There's no molex connectors in this thing either.

Yeah I know, I have no idea if the airflow is designed with the side cover closed in mind. Looking throughout the case, there is certainly ROOM for fans... but no headers on the motherboard or mounting holes for them. The only fans are some propitery-sized "stick" of three mini-fans in the front...

No, are you saying it would cool better with the side panel on even though there are no fans or vents on the side panel? Yeah, it has a massive 200mm fan right on the side, I miss when cases had side-fans, they cool cards absurdly well. My RAID card in that same system overheats it's backup...

GPU upgrade for my Dell Precision T3610 causes reboots

WD Blue vs Seagate Barracuda, trying to choose a 2TB HDD

Me thinks you're a child for such an immature reply. I would have loved to go bigger, but I can't really do that for $50 without risking used/refurbished drives. It's still a massive upgrade from the 300GB drive it will be replacing anyway.
