I have Suddenlink (a Cox spin-off), and my speeds went from 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps at no charge. Now if they would only put some effort into their cable service, they wouldn't be the worst in existence. The box and guide look like they're from the late 90s and probably are.
We also have the worst public education system in the country. It shows. They idiots in the state congress probably have absolutely no idea that there are things they cannot do.
Couldn't have put it better myself. Certain politicians with the help of certain media have fabricated this idea of an "educated elite," who just want to brainwash their children and steal their money. That distrust is why articles like this keep popping up. People want so badly to see...
From the article, it sounds like its used to analyze a network and pinpoint the person suspected of child pornography. It doesn't find child pornography on its own.

As ridiculous as it sounds, I don't see how Sweden can deny them if they meet all the requirements, and it appears as though they do. Religious exemption is a dumb concept anyway. Scientology got religious exemption, and they've hurt more people than fire sharing ever will.
Nope, this is sponsored by the same who wanted to outlaw feet washing and praying if you were a Muslim.

Here's the full text of the law (HB 300):

It was sponsored in the House by Rep. Charles Curtiss (D-Sparta, District 43) and in the Senate by Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro, District 13).
I don't think that's a fair comparison. I admit I don't know many specifics about how Hyperthreading works, but I know that a quad core, Hyperthreaded processor is still just a quad core processor. OTH, the cores in the Bulldozer module are distinct structures. An eight-core bulldozer will...
That's what I thought, but it's even simpler than that.

That's too bad. I had an nforce4 that ran rock solid oc'ed for years. I know they've refocused on gpus and mobile chipsets, but I'd love to see them come back to the desktop chipset world.
I promise this is the last time I bump this thread. I just want to report that although I'm disappointed about not begin able to unlock any cores, I am very satisfied with the performance of my now 3.8 GHz cpu. Even an 1.46V, it's running nice and cool at 38 C (full load) under an Arctic...
Is it normal for these to come out of the box at 1.43 V? That's what mine is running at without me touching it. But yeah I definitely plan to OC it later. At my current pace of upgrading, I'll be looking at whatever comes after dozer.
I tried upping the cpu voltage as much as 0.5V. As far as I can tell, setting UCC to "Enabled" is supposed to unlock the cores. Doing this keeps me from even getting back to the BIOS screen though.
