Cyberpunk 2077

Which one? I completed Phantom Liberty (all endings and all gigs for hands) and I don't recall seeing that tunnel until I noclipped into it.
It's when you are leaving the stadium after dealing with whatever the asshole's name is that was in charge of Dogtown. It depends on whether or not you side with Songbird or Idris Elba's character as to whether or not you use it. I think you have to free Songbird to use that tunnel.

That's a different tunnel, leading into the badlands, I'd have noticed if it was that.

This is where you emerge if you side with Songbird:

And this is where the tunnel I'm talking about leads to:

Funny enough when standing in front of the entrance the map plots a route through the tunnel, even though it is inaccessible without noclip. There are several "not authorized" doors in the way, and even one that doesn't even prompt just acts like a wall.
I have never used this tunnel while completing Phantom Liberty, nor have known of its existence.

OK, fair enough. I guess I don't know the specific tunnel.

The Dogtown-Pacifica tunnel is an 'Increased Criminal Activity - BARGHEST' side event. Did it when I had my last play through.

Iconic gun somewhere in there.

Google search terms "cyberpunk tunnel pacifica to dogtown" if you want to see folk's play through of that part.
To add to that, this specific Criminal Activity location is one of the three needed to get the Judgement Day achievement:

Have full time job, girlfriend and get outside frequently. Isn't difficult to do but what helps greatly is being organized.
Yeah everyone life different... I work offshore but when I'm home I take care of my son.. The only time I can pay is before he gets up which is 6 am.. So I normally get up at 3 am game 3 hrs lol

There are many areas that were cut. Some areas like the tram rails would randomly stop in odd places, don't recall if those were changed with the last update that added ride-able trams. There are a number of buildings that standout and you can tell at some point a mission was planned there, they are often populated. If I recall some have unique sounds. One is an Arasaka building in the outskirts with a big vehicle bay.

I wish there were mission based around these locations, a lot of them could have been finished and added via DLC.

A lot of those locations are clearly unfinished. They don't have the same detail as the rest of the city, yet are prominent enough to have been considered for such things.

There are tons of cut content in the game, I think we barely got half of what was originally planned. The entire arasaka waterfront district was cut, the aircraft carrier was cut, the casino, the spaceport, dogtown. The spaceport and dogtown was added in phantom liberty, but the waterfront, casino and even the aircraft carrier exist in the game as placeholders. Among odds and ends scattered through the city. Most of the verticality was cut, so if you go up to the monorail level that's where you find most half finished locations. There are entire youtube channels dedicated to exploring these. There is also a fan project / mod WIP to finish the casino. I'd not recommend it though as it is pretty rough, looks like a map that was ported from DeusEx from 2000.

Exactly. There is a good video going over a number of the areas that shows off what is in game but WIP. For me, I would have liked to see more verticality. I liked the city design but seldom do we go into any of the large buildings higher up floors. It was quite dense compared to most games which is good, but it could have been even better had there been more chances to get up high in the skyscrapers.

Yeah I agree it's nuts with all the tech we have now we can't even get verticality and being able to enter buildings... I feel like games are never advancing with tech look at rts games they are still stuck in the stone age..

Heh, then people would complain there's nothing in those buildings. :p

They don't need to make a full skyscraper accessible at every floor. But some verticality would have been nice. Example, the building to building bridges in Cropo Plaza. Make some good missions in there of course.

I don't disagree, just saying what would happen :).

The saturation, contrast, etc. are not good for all lighting conditions. It can be harder to see things.
All the ReShade stuff is like that. It generally looks good under one specific lighting condition and that's it. I've never found a ReShade that was worth a shit for anything but screenshots under one specific lighting condition and even specific areas of the game. The mod in question is actually a combination of texture mods (AI upscaled) and LUT mods with a ReShade on top of that. (Not counting the obvious car mods.)

I used a reshade once...once for about 5 minutes. yeah, no thanks.
Also that vid that DPI posted, when you skip ahead about 15 minutes to the actual gameplay...that shit looks to me like it's running @ sub 30fps. Not fun!

I'm not a big fan of reshades and in most cases there is a better way of balancing things with modding tools. In my opinion Nova Lut for Cyberpunk is very good. It balances the light much more realistically and gets rid of the slow as molasses eye adaptation. As an HDR user the Nova Lut HDR is a must for me. Slap on the 4k texture mods and you get the same performance with much better visuals. As long as you have the VRAM to handle the textures anyway.

I finally picked this up during the Steam spring sale and I'm trying to play it now. Got past the prologue (I think) as a Nomad where the dude drops me off and I'm supposed to "go home".

WTF is up with the walking speed?

V moves at a fucking snail's pace. If I hit the "toggle walk" button, he moves at a paraplegic snail's pace and when I look down the animation is so slow, it's stuttering.

When I search for mods, I find stuff about *slowing down* the walking speed.

Hitting "toggle sprint" only results in a decent movement speed until I release the "forward" command, then it's back to snailville.

What the actual fuck? This is unplayable.

Because you are just normal. Need some leg mods and get a sandevistan to run circles around people while they barely get a chance to move.

Gotta play the game man, not just cheat your way to the top with game mods. :p

You're fast as fuck with some mods

Like literally the speed of cars on the highways

While jumping 20 feet high no less, you absolutely haul ass

I don't remember the normal default walking speed feeling overly slow, though I guess compared to how my V is now it would feel slow.

Game is great, though, definitely give it a chance.

"Normal" doesn't mean crippled. I don't expect to Usain Bolt my way down the block, just let me have a decent default pace like every single other game, including all 3 of the Witchers. Hell, The Witcher 1 was a running sim with all the back and forth between Vizima and the swamp, but at least Geralt was moving instead of strolling through town like he's counting windows in the architecture.

This is seriously so damned slow that any walk down the street is going to be a real-world time sink. If the player has to spend in-game character upgrade points to make the game worth the time it takes to play, that's some terrible game design. It's like letterboxing out half the screen and "letting" the character slowly upgrade to see the whole thing.

I dunno, i honestly don't feel the same as you. It felt fine to me. I could see even a little slower would be nice as I hate feeling unnaturally fast (unless reasons like leg mods or speed drugs etc). It was such an enjoyable game for me, I have played it through 3 times so far twice on pc and once on ps5. And now chatting about it, kinda want to play it again, maybe after oblivion.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about

I don't remember moving unusually slow at all

Why complain about slow walking speed when you can sprint?

Ditto. I haven't even added any upgrades to my character's speed because it feels fast enough. Maybe something is wrong with his game.
