Hello
I bought an old desktop for $160 with 1 TB HDD, 8gb ram and an i5-3470 quad core. I'm looking to add a GTX 1060.
* The PSU says "max 320W continuous output" and 90% rating. 1060 uses 120W. ( Remaining i5-3470 (77w), small fan, DVD, 1TB HDD, 256 SSD)
* There is no 20/24 pin connector...

You likely know that Seasonic has been one of HardOCP's favorite PSU brands for many years now, and with good reason. Go back and look through our Seasonic reviews listing, and you will see why. Out of the 23 Seasonic PSUs we have reviewed since 2007, only two were not awarded, and those still...
So I am making a new build with dual video cards and I need to buy a new PSU. I'm just looking to get this off my hands. I've only used it since December, so it's got relatively little usage on it. And it only powered an i5 and a GTX 1060, no overclocking, so I didn't stress the PSU. It's not...

Good morning everyone,
I've had a weird power on issue with my current PC that's been happening since I built it two years ago, I believe system board is an Asus z97a, I've tried stock bios settings and messing with them and get the same results, so I'm thinking maybe it's a hardware or wiring...

Hello guys,
I have a question regarding my PSU compatibility with EVGA FTW 1070.
My PSU Seasonic M12II-620 Bronze has 2 pci-e connections 1x6p and 1x8.
The EVGA FTW 1070 needs 2x 1x8 connections.
Is there a way to make it work on my PSU? Would it be safe if i make it work?
Thanks in...
Hello all.
Im trying to sli gtx 1070 and i just want to make sure that the way i am going to get power to the second card will be safe.
My psu is 850w. Its about 4 years old and it only has one 8 pin and one 6 pin for the gpus. I have never had any trouble with the psu so im trying to reuse it...
I've had xfx pro 650w for 2 years and it was fine, recently it gets really noisy, especially when playing games, it's by far noisier than the r9 380 fan at 50%.
It's noisy also when using the integrated hd4600 meaning it's not stressed in any way, there could be something wrong with the fan...
Specifically, in forthcoming reviews I'd like to see [H] test if the PSU will sacrifice itself to protect the rest of the PC. I'm sure that this will be obvious with poorer-quality PSUs and not require testing.
Imagine you're running your PSU at 95% - 100% load all the time. Is there any data on how much this reduces the lifespan of the PSU? How about 50% of the time?
Hi, I'm looking at installing a Flex PSU into my SFF system but am unfamiliar with them, so it would be great to get some more experienced users feedback.
Can anyone recommend a reliable and safe brand?
The PSU doesn't need to be huge. 300W would likely be enough. It also does not need a GPU...

Just received this unit today and thought I would take a look at it.
It's the only 150mm long FlexATX PSU with full modularity, and at 300W it has enough power for an R9 Nano and a decent i7.
The awesome thing about that is that you can make your own cable harness with perfect cable lengths...
So I built my first system a while back and am currently using a GPU that uses duel 6 Pin connectors for its power consumption. However I am getting ready to remodel my system and recently purchased a GPU that requires two 8 Pin instead of 6 Pin not thinking it would be a problem. However after...
