you could try and go into safe mode and do a restore.. if not use the winxp cd they give u and repair winxp... just do like you would install it,, but there is a prior repair option like hit f5 or something like that don't do that one,, its the one taht you use when ur about to format and...

i read through many forums and found that divx 5.1.1 codec works best w/sp2 when ur explore constantly crashes opening any avi files but with the help of disabling DEP which you do in your boot.ini ... i was very against gettin sp2 but my roomate was like saying how it was so great blah blah...

not sure bout amd,, but dual channel are usually slots 1,3 or 2,4 for intel mobos... if not refer to your manual just in case...

by any chance is the coax cable to ur modem longer than like 10 ft?? if it is,, it will cause ur cable modem to overheat... try a shorter cable,, i once had a 50ft so i could make it all clean by going to the side of the carpet etc.. now i just have it right by my desk w/a 2 foot coax and it...

yes it is zipzoomfly and they are great,, as i always ordered my ram from there... and once in a while they do have typos but not for small pricing,, it was like an outrageous price.. but they usually got it fixed the next day... but the pricing is right and free 2nd day like always

i have the wireless-g linkysys router and it works like a charm.. my house is around 3000+ sq ft and i get about 4 bars just about anywhere in the house... and the router is in my room far away from the rest of the house sicne my desktop is on cat5

for ie : tools,, internet options,, privacy tab... uncheck ovverride automatci cookie handling... also on edit.. you can put the webpage taht you want to allow or block.. hope this helped

yea rma does suck.. and asus does take forever,, abit is still fairly fast as i rmaed an ic7-g but others not sure..

yea i bet its the function button,, all new lines of microsoft and logitech have the function button.. w/o it turned on you can't use the normal f keys
