rewiring an antec floppy to a normal molex?

hi all.i am trying to figure out how to run a molex to my new ati card.i already have all the molexes used up.on the floppy drive connector,which i have 1 spare not in use,could i rewire it to a molex connector,i could then power the vid card without adding a splitter in my case. also does the ati card use the 12v rail or the 5v rail?

Yes, you can cut off the floppy connector and put a standard connector on.
 
i would like to do this the way i am asking ,just to not have more wiring in case.does anyone know if the card uses the 5 volt or 12 volt line.i cannot find a definitive answer to this

The floppy connector is the same thing as a molex as far as what power goes to each pin, etc. Just cut off the floppy connector, and solder (or whatever) a molex connector to it.
