The game's resolution is 640. Bungie confirmed this on their website. Jaggies are very appearant in almost every scene, every level, especially one's with large horizontal vista's. How could one not notice! They are HUGE in some levels.
Bought myself a 360 for xmas and I'm using my Dell 2001fp with the vga cable with great success but I would like to get a full widescreen display for the 360. I know the 2407 would be nice but all I can afford is the 2007. Can anyone here tell me if the 360 will scale well with the 2007? I...
If you have a single layer sacd (sa output only) and can't hear any output from the 'stereo' outputs, they are dedicated to Redbook playback only. Something of interest for us sacd lovers, Sony's new PS3 will playback sacd's, so it looks like the format will be around for quite sometime. :D
Change your connection to your Aria to the L and R front channel outputs and then select "2ch". That will make your player read the 2ch sacd layer.
You can listen to a sacd for redbook playback only if the disc has three layers. 2ch/Multi ch/and CD.
You must use the analog outputs of the sacd player to the analog inputs of your pre-amp/receiver. Then you must get into the setup menu of your sacd player and set it up to go two channel sacd or 5.1 output. My sacd player has these controls on the front panel. You will only get redbook cd...
Is this another Diamond vapor ware product that will never materialize? You guys got me all hot and bothered  . Who say's it's gonna be available in THIS century. Show me the beef!!!!
I found a picture that shows where the optical output is. It does in fact have one. Whew, that would have been a show stopper for me. It's on the plug assembly that you insert into the 360's back panel. I guess I should have done the "google" first eh? ;)
When I get a 360 (soon) ($399 version) I want to use my Dell 2001 fp. Going to get that HD vga adaptor cable but I only see analog rca audio plugs on it. I want to use my Logitech Z-5500 for the audio and utilize the optical in on the Logitechs console but can't find the output port on the...
Nope, I based my "impulse buy" on a review of the Primus 150's in "Stereophile" magazine. They thought they were quite amazing. So do I. I mated them with my "Cambridge Subwoofer" and my aging but still perfectly functioning Harmon Kardon Citation 22 amp.
The Infinitys are rated down to 59hz. The Logitech sub at 120hz made the system bass heavy and un-natural sounding. The more I listened to it with the Infinitys the more I realized that tampering with it was not a good idea. The Z-5500's are better left alone. If I could just change the...
Yep, they sound just fine with a very big increase in mid range clarity. The stock speakers sound a tad *cramped* in comparision. However, I forgot to measure the Primus before the switch and they are way too big to fit on my corner desk. I need more desk top space. Back to the drawing...
I recently purchased a pair of 150's for my main stereo system. I was wondering if anyone has used these, or any good bookshelf speaker with the Logitech Z-5500 amplifiers. I use the DVD audio player that comes with the Creative xfi extreme music sound card and am building a nice collection...
I use "Klearscreen". The $20 kit comes with a spray bottle (2oz) and a special cleaning and polishing cloth for my Dell 2001 lcd. Works well and is alcohol ammonia free. Just checked out the ingredient list on my spray bottle of Windex and it has among other things BOTH ammonia and alcohol...
I recently got a xfi extreme music for my system and after reading all the tests and reviews I could I bought one and when I unpacked it I noticed a heat sink covering the main processor chip. Never saw this in any of the pictures of it in any of the reviews and it's not even shown on the...
Dissaaaaaapointed.....Not likely to swap out my new PE anyway so I'm keeping out of this *but* Nvidia has regained the crown. And quite frankly my dear, I just don't give a damn
I bought it at EB yesterday, took it home and installed it and the game wont load. All i get is a MS error report. $50 for a big headache. Thank you MS. The only thing I can think of is my video card is not listed on the supported video card list. I've got a X850XTPE. ATI's...
I cancelled my order. Didn't like the wait and "refurb" made me nervous. Sold 2 of my old vid cards (9700pro and 800pro) and bought a x850xtpe. Gonna keep my AGP system until it rots :D since it's only a year old anywaz.
Lot of us *biting* on this one eh? I bit too. Can't pass this one up as they are still going new for upwards of $400+ I am such a sucker for deals like this. Hope ATI doesn't BONE me on this
My first LCD and I'm blown away with it. Using the supplied DVI cable and I read somewhere in these pages that the stock cable isn't as good as an aftermarket cable. I raced down to my local cusa store and found a whole shelf full of them and they were all in the $60 to $90 price range :eek...
I lit a wood stick match and placed it outside the exhaust port of the case and the air flow put the flame out. The ensuing explosion and fire did damage the wall a bit, but the cooler put *that* flame out as well. :p hehe. Well, actually it was a paper match and the airflow from the cooler...
This is my second! My first was for my X800pro, which would run, under load upwards of 72 degree's. With the AC, that dropped to the 50's and permitted o/c'ing with no adverse effects. Nice product. Looking forward to seeing your "enhancements" on the v.2 :)
Just installed an Arctic Cooler 5 v2 for my ATI X800xl. The stock cooler, which did a great job of cooling the gpu heated up the case by almost 20 degree's over the norm. I have two 120mm case fans. One intake, one exhaust. Interior temps, with the stock cooler in place was 90 to 100...
:) I feel this is all my fault >sob< I'm not going to slam ya for trying to help out. The cooler can be *augmented* to vent the exhaust out the case which is good and like you said, the stock cooler does pump hot air back into the case which is bad. Sry if I got alittle testy.
Boy, am I glad I waited too be sure the thing fitted. Peepaw, you should have said that it did fit *but* it's too short to exit hot air out of the case like it's advertised to do. Keeping the hot exhaust *out* of the case is the only reason I would buy it in the first place. And I would have...
How can that be? The agp part is an inch longer than the pci-e version. Doesn't look like the ram sink will clear the system ram either. Are you sure
