So for the past few months, I've been having this strange issue where my computer freezes randomly. I've noticed that it has done it more than normal when I'm trying to stream some sort of video, or when the computer is coming out of hibernation mode. I've slowly started upgrading things...
I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this motherboard. The version of BIOS I am currently using is 0705, and I checked the site and there were a few updated BIOS version available.....Would it be a good idea to try and update the BIOS?
Hm, ill take a look at that link. I appreciate you taking the time out to help me....would you mind informing me how exactly to check and see my chipset driver version number would be?
I apologize if this isn't the correct place for this....but I am reaching desperation here.....Soi figured I would turn to my fellow hardforum-ians.
"Here is the deal. I got an eVga 9800gtx+ Superclocked Edition VC, and a Viewsonic VX922LCD Monitor.
Recently my monitor has been going...
I tried doing the monitor settings and the videocard settings. I got it close one time but it still looked way to terrible.
Normally I wouldn't care cause I have an awesome LCD....but after seeing some other crt pictures in images and videos I got a bit envious haha.
Personally man, I use the Phenom II x 3 and I never run hot on the stock cooler and heatsink.
its played every game I play without fail but I am an FPS guy.
Alright, I know what you people are going to say. (Counter Strike 1.6 is 10years old and blah blah...) My problems run deeper than a simple 100fps problem. I get 100fps on both setups.
First of all this is my setup.
Processor - AMD Phenom II x 3 (2.8Ghz.)
Motherboard - ASUS Deluxe M4A79T...
My videocard temperature never exceed 48 degrees, and I did some test on the processor and it wouldn't ever exceed 50 degrees. Count this be a ram issue?
Well i only assumed it was the card, not 100% positive that is what it is.
When I have it in the 30-40 range, it usually doesn't do this. Maybe I just catch it in awkward times?
Alright, I posted a while back about having trouble with my videocard overheating when ever I play games. I downloaded eVga Precision and pretty much "un-clocked" it back to regular Core/Shader clocks. It worked wonderful for a while and it gradually began to get worse again. When this...
Last night, I played a game up to about 4:00am before hitting the sack for some shuteye. I got in around 4:00pm the same day, and noticed the longer I played, the more ping spikes I received. I would go from about 25-50 ping all the way up to 1000 ping occasionally.
After trying...
He is correct, I made a mistake listing my motherboard model number.
I figured out my problem, I upp'd the speed of my fans, to help with the temperature my videocard was getting to. I also unclocked the videocard back to default settings and this fixed my problems.
I have recently purchased two of these mice and both of them have the same problem. I use it for gaming, considering the fact that right on the box it says "used by a majority of LAN gamers" or something along this line so I figured to give the ma try. I love the feel of the mouse but they...
I just got in from purchasing blank cd's, haven't had a chance to run the processor program nor the memtest. I ran the GPU program while I was away and here are the results.

I ordered a load of computer parts to put together my own gaming computer about a week and a half ago. After waiting about 4 days, all the pieces came in and I got everything installed. I loaded windows xp professional, and went to installing all the drivers and whatnot.

I recently bout about 900+ dollars worth of new pc components and such to build me a gaming rig. After receiving everything in the mail, I began my journey to hooking everything up.
First I installed the powersupply. Then I installed the harddrive and the CD/DVD drives in the bays. I...
Thanks alot guys, I did some research and found a few other people who had similar problems as I did. I contacted microsoft and they told me that they no longer offered RMA on that mouse and only could refund me my money. So maybe I will try again once I receive the refund.
I recently bought a Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 after reading some awesome reviews on it for gaming purposes. When I initially plugged it up, it auto-installed like usual. I love the feel of it, the traction was smooth as it could be, and then I start to notice something weird. If I move the...
Currently in search of a few computer components. I was going to buy brand new, but I figured I would do a little searching on here to begin with.
First and foremost, I need 4gigabytes of ram (preferably in a 4v1gb kit.)

wow, that garbage....i hate vista, ot keeps asking me to install vista service pack 1 but when I do, it basically changes my pc and the way things function. =(
One example is an FPS shooter I play, after the install of sp1 it makes it to where my FPS max's out at 60 instead of the 100 I...
