Low-end desktop barebone PC

This unit started life a the ASUS Terminator C3. I basically carved the motherboard tray out of the barebone unit and mounted it in a black Ultra Wizard case. I used this for a while as a low power file server running Windows 2003. I recently switched to WHS and needed a bit more CPU power.

The offering includes the Black Ultra Wizard case, the Asus T3 mobo, soldered on VIA C3-800 CPU & HSF and all the various cables and whatnot. Simply add a PSU, RAM stick, a few hard drives and perhaps a PCI drive controllor (see below) and you have a low power file server. The motherboard itself supports 2 SATA-150 ports and 2 PATA ports.

Here are some details about the mobo itself. Please note that this is a proprietary form factor motherboard.

Interested in the board, CPU and PSU if you sell them alone......

Wish I had some money to buy some more stuff from you...

Since I don't, here's a free bump for an excellent trader always with something interesting for sale. :)

your carPC looks oh-so-tempting

Do those PNY raid cards work as just a basic 5 drive sata controller? IE allows 5 drives to work without the raid? might go well in a linux sraid file server...

I only used them in 2x 5 drive RAID 3 configuration...don't know if they can do 5 single drives.

The Highpoint 2320 that I also have for sale can certainly can do 8 single drives.
