I will say when I was playing with the Razr at the Verizon store before I ordered one I went to a few websites. I don't know if it was the 4G internet, or the newer processor, but I couldn't complain at all at how fast it loaded the webpages, including HardOCP. It was pretty blazing fast.
I don't mess around with that stuff all that much. The most I'll do is root it to put on some of the cooler apps. Although really, I haven't had my X rooted in a while and I haven't missed it. I just want the thin profile and tougher exterior so it will hold up. My X has held up very well...
I love AMD because they make a good, value priced, alternative to Intel processors. They also happened to buy ATi, who I preferred in the video card arena, which gives me another reason to love them.
Sounds like a good idea to me. Kind of like how most decent auto parts stores have the big oil recycling container in them, even if you didn't buy the oil there.
I've decided to stop shopping at GameStop after trying to buy my pre-ordered copy of R6: Vegas 2. I go in there on the day their website says the game is available, and the guy tells me they won't have any until the next day, but other stores have it now. I ask him why that is, he said they...
Sure they can. When they ban people from XBox live they ban the username, the IP address, the physical console (I'm assuming by the MAC address or something), and I believe the credit card number (if they used one) so the person is completely banned, short of getting a new console, IP address...
Our networking related stuff doesn't get switched out often. I think we've bought one new set of switches in the 5 years I've been here. The old stuff either sits on a shelf as a back up or gets tossed on ebay.
I don't think piracy is killing it. I can admit I've downloaded a game or 2 here and there, or gotten a NoCD crack for a friends copy of a game. But the games I've done that for are games I wasn't going to buy in the first place, so no one is losing any money over it, since it's money they...
You wouldn't think so, but I bought the regular xtreme gamer (slim one) and tried it in battlefield 2142, and no matter what I tried, whenever an explosion went off in the game, I got this crackling static sounds through my speakers/headphones. I returned it and bought the xtreme gamer fatal1ty...
I plan to go one year, but just haven't been able to afford the plane ticket and hotel that I would need for the trip. Driving cross country is just not my idea of a good time.
Dude, give them a chance. It's just a quick preview. The game isn't even scheduled to come out until October, so they probably still have a good bit of optimization to get done on the engine before it's ready for primetime. This should just be a quick look at what they have now, not and...
Hey, you don't need to get on me about having to deal with being left handed, I am too. I'm just not completely and totally left hand only, I do something right handed just because that's how I learned to do it. I used to mess around with guitars sometimes, and did it right handed just because.
How about giving some reasons why? Do certain parts get in the way of your hand? Is it the shape? It would be nice to have a little more than "it sucks!"
I've had mine for about a year now, and it's still going strong. I haven't checked the date on the back yet, but I got it used, so who knows how long it's been going.
I have it for PS2, but a friend of mine offered to buy my PS2 version, so I'll be getting the 360 version next week. I've played with the 360 guitar a couple times at Best Buy, and it feels a lot nicer than the PS2 version. Much more solid feeling.
Besides, it's not like this is the first game to kill your saves when you patch. It's been happening for years, and still happens every now and then. I'm sure if they could have kept it from happening easily they would have, but it was probably a big PITA for them, so they didn't.
I think running is supposed to be like that. Mine works like an on/off thing. I hit x and run, then hit x again when I'm done to stop, instead of having to hold it down. Seems to work fine for me. I haven't noticed any other oddities with sticking keys.
I'll just have to remember that next time I'm considering buying some expensive Sony TV or monitor. "Oh, darn, I forgot, I'm too cheap to buy this, better get a different brand..."
It's starting to seem that way to me, I haven't been having much trouble with all these things people are complaining about. I just adapted to the play style of the game, and kept on rolling.
I agree entirely. I've also seen people complain about the ending sucking. There are 7 endings...
Do you have an artifact equipped that has a + for radiation? If you do, that's what's causing it. You're basically continuously exposing yourself to radiation.
I was running it on just the X800XL for a while just fine, and then tossed my X800 Pro in in Crossfire mode to get a little bit better performance. I was running it smoothly at 1280*1024 with medium settings, and static lighting. Anything above static makes things drag pretty badly.
Nevermind, I found them myself

Interesting that a console that has been out a year, and already sold in the millions is...
I didn't say they were wrong, I was saying I would like to see a direct sales comparison, not one of the 360's numbers from when it released. How has the 360 sold in direct competition with the PS3?
