AMD just uploaded more gaming benchmarks of their navi cards, including 4K and 1440p.

It seems in 2020, this acclaimed video card still stands the test of time as it takes out both the 2070 Super and 5700 XT overall:

More details about RX 5500. Official AMD benchmarks vs 1650. No surprise it outclasses 1650.
Cores between Turing and Navi are fairly equivalent now. 1650 only has 896 cores, and 5500 has 1408 cores. It's not even a contest.
5500 in specs is much closer to 1660 in specs. That should be...
VideoCardz seems to be first breaking news on an AMD RX 5500 presentation, along with some AMD supplied benchmarks.

Running Debian unstable. Kernel 5.3-rc8 latest firmware including the navi firmware
Tried using mesa git (19.2 branch) with llvm10 and it built fully but all attempts to use the amdgpu driver resulted in xorg messages saying that 2d and 3d acceleration were disabled. Additionally I dont...
Perhaps we can have a "VS" thread with poll so it seems less like thread crapping to some people to mention the competition.
As I said in another thread:
If I were buying in this range today, at exactly these price points I would get:
at $350: The RX 5700 because regular RTX 2060 is weaker at...
Die size estimates have been floating around ranging from about 255mm2 to 275mm2:

The meeting ran ~30 mins and contains info regarding zen 2 and navi launch. Looks like July launch.
EDIT: Lisu Su starts speaking at 16:20.
Actually Hardcore Overclocking on YouTube has analyzed an AMD PCB with GDDR6 that was sent to him over Discord. He discusses the memory layout, VRMs, and cooler possibilities that may come on the reference boards. In the comments section, some viewers and Buildzoid noticed USB-C on the board.
This is not directly from AMD, but Sony just gave Wired a few pointers on what to expect from PS5. They mentioned 8-core Ryzen as a CPU, and that they'll use "a custom variant of Radeon’s Navi family, will support ray tracing".
Read the interview here...
Unlike previous rumors of the PS5. This is a visit to Sony and interview with Mark Cerny. But it does confirm much of previous rumors: Zen 2, Navi, Ray Tracing, SSD, 8K support:

Our friends over at TechPowerUp have a story up about AMD intending to both Launch their new 7nm Ryzen CPU's and unveil their new Navï based GPU's at the same time this May/June during Computex, presumably during CEO Dr. Lisa Su's Keynote.
I think many of us already suspected this might be the...
From the rumor mill over on Techradar we have a story about what the future of AMD GPU's may look like. It suggests that later this year we may see Navi 10, which will likely be a mid range offering and might be used in consoles. More midrange cards aren't exactly exciting.
The...
On their investor website, AMD recently published a set of slides that confirm the release of 3rd generation Ryzen and Threadripper CPUs some time in 2019. Pro variants of the 2nd generation Ryzen APUs are slated to come out this Spring, while 3rd generation Ryzen desktop processors are...
PC World sat down with AMD's Scott Herkleman, and got some good info on FreeSync, Radeon VII, and the future of AMD's gaming graphics. Among other things, he talks about why Radeon VII only supports PCIe Generation 3, Nvidia's decision to support freesync, and reaffirmed that Navi is coming in...
CES is barely over, and AMD already has the Radeon VII GPU set for release soon, but the Navi rumor mill is already starting to spin up. An anonymous source allegedly told Red Gaming Tech that AMD will launch the Navi GPU architecture at E3 2019.
Well, according to a source Navi will not be...
AdoredTV on YouTube has released a new video where he speculates on upcoming AMD product launches for 2019 such as Navi, Vega II, and Ryzen 2. AMD President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will have the undivided attention of the entire tech industry when she delivers her keynote speech at CES 2019, and it...
Jason Evangelho is suggesting that Vega's R&D suffered greatly due to AMD's collaboration with Sony and it sucking up resources that would have delivered a better Vega to PC gamers. Certainly a good read! That all said, to this day, I have heard some sources that have told me this story as...

With the SSG release today, is this what Navi will bring to dGPU?
http://semiaccurate.com/2016/07/25/amd-puts-massive-ssds-gpus-calls-ssg/
To me, this seems to be the most likely as we have heard nothing else about a next gen memory from AMD side.
SSG brings huge scalability and 'next gen'...
