Using Sapphire TriXX people are getting amazing overclock results on AMD fury cards.
Can someone post their VALID 980ti max OC single GPU results? im interested in comparing.
If its anything like their last big Omega driver release i expect to see 10%+ performance increase in current gen cards like Fury X with some games. I remember the Omega release and it was almost like a hardware upgrade for me at the time, the improvement was noticeable without FPS/Performance...
over time AMD improves performance more than nVidia does through drivers, there was a % increase in performance over time chart somewhere a while back that showed AMD about 10% higher performance gain on average over time than nVidia from time of release.
If AMD releases the unlock and the results are the same as this link suggests, poor overclocking.. then i will NEVER buy an AMD card again, if they lied then i fell for it.. but NEVER again.
I will wait to see what AMD's own unlocks and drivers do, i have a feeling there are some major driver optimizations and voltage/clock unlocks to come that will at least make the Fury X OC competitive against the 980ti and possibly match the Titan X in some cases. I mean, nvidia has had almost a...
The only thing that can save the hardware market is if there was a massive sweeping push toward steam boxes (which are just custom built PC on a small form factor made to run PC games), and do-it-yourself PC gamers buying and upgrading hardware.. I think platform gaming needs to die out and we...

AMD said the fury/fury x cards will be the best overclockable cards on the market... so when they get unlocked we will see.. I would be happy to see my fury x OC to +25% Frame performance
Who knows, maybe some DX12 benchmarks in Windows 10. Fury X is supposed to thrive in the lover level DX12 stuff.
Im likely to wait till next generation again... i bought a freesync monitor thinking the fury x would be a killer card.. i mean its 48% increased performance over the 290x but i...
Im going to wait a month or more and see some DX12 benchmarks, and hope that a Fury X Ultra OC Edition comes out and at least Beats the Titan X by 5% before i consider buying one.. Would also like to get one for $500 or less if possible
I was super hyped but AMD didnt deliver what i was hoping for.
I called both provantage and shopBLT, they said the items are on back order for 2-4 weeks before they will arrive at warehouses and they are not factory direct shipping, the nice thing is since i pre-ordered with shopBLT is i can cancel anytime before they ship it out. I decided to keep my order...
bahaha, $650 MSRP and i pre-ordered mine last night for $685 while everyone complains about price gouging, i will be laughing when you all wait and then you cant find one in stock for under $750 after release.. I guess im not strapped for money so $35 is not a big deal to me.
boom, 390X faster than Titan X and its estimated to be $699 at launch, much less than a titan.
^^ If this is accurate then AMD is going to have a chance to gain back a little market share. This does not account for any potential architectural improvements or potential HBM memory bandwidth...
