I can't really find any new 24 inch gaming monitors for 2010, they all seem to have some extra weird feature I'd never need.

Where could I buy one of the new Asus monitors when they are announced? Which vendor sells new monitors 1st?

Now that CES is over I'm hoping to find a gaming monitor. I'm looking for something in the 22-24 inch 300-500$ price range. Anyone see any decent new monitors show up, or is old technology still popular?

Currently, There are not enough motherboards that support these new processors. Or can you somehow convert say a GB UD3 mobo to use the gpu outputs like HDMI and DVI? I might be confused.

i think the 860 turboclocked is a wonderful option. For the average user, turboclocking, will be the most silent, power efficient, and fast enough to be unnoticeably slower than an all out overclock.

So whats a good gaming 24+ inch IPS monitor then?

IPS are bad for gaming because they have 8+ MS response time. Gaming monitors require 2-3ms to be really quality.
