I live in Tallahassee also. This is a sign in front of the old armory which is now a senior center. My grandma is well into her 80s and still plays wii and can use a computer, not sure if she will make it to facebook tho. This is a great idea for old people to connect socially which contributes...
We can find someone else to manufacture stuff. We should invade China, like Iraq, and overthrow an economically aggressive nation. It would help get rid of our national debt also.
Now that CES is over I'm hoping to find a gaming monitor. I'm looking for something in the 22-24 inch 300-500$ price range. Anyone see any decent new monitors show up, or is old technology still popular?
I hope bezel-less 3d surround is available soon. It'd be cool for casual games, and for impressing guests. Glasses-less solution is, of coarse, the ultimate ultimate.
I have a Pioneer 7-Channel A/V Receiver VSX-919AH-K, and it's great. Does everything I need, good setup options, and ipod dock.

Looks like cool new stuff comming from OCZ. I'd really like to see the next gen MLC internals coming out. Might be time to retire the 80gb intel G2, and move it into my PS3 or Macbook! That USB...
Frankly, If you show me an eyefinity setup, I'll say the emperor has no clothes, and not even feel bad about it, open mind. Theres ENOURMOUS black lines through what you view from the bezels, it like really obvious to me I guess. I go nuts when my fps drops even a little, or if I even get minor...
Only way display technology can impress me now is if it's a giant rounded screen, 3d without glasses, paper thin, uses no energy, and costs little. 3 ugly, bezeled monitors, side by side, that slow game performance, is just not impressive. On a sidenote I think sli and xfire slowed technological...
The "To me" part lets you know it's an opinion. It's a casual hardocp user opinion. Just seems to me like this site has gone nuts over a technology that is very unimpressive to me as a hardcore enthusiast gamer. That being said I'm more into the score than how pretty the screen looked when I...
To me.. It seems like hardocp is in ATI's pocket. Eyefinity is not impressive, not interesting, and not the future of electronic gaming, but the author sure says it is. I don't think the site is totally corrupt, but the eyefinity fanboism is pretty meh. I'd like to see more focus on other areas...
Currently, There are not enough motherboards that support these new processors. Or can you somehow convert say a GB UD3 mobo to use the gpu outputs like HDMI and DVI? I might be confused.
You don't think you could hotkey functions like tab to search bar, and say letters to enter then scroll with voice for a movie like "CB4" ? I'm excited about the possibilities.
I have a dream, that I could build a htpc, that uses voice recognition software. Essentially I'd like to be able to awaken, sleep, navigate the pc with voice, open files with voice, and make the movie file I opened fullscreen with voice. I want to be able to sit on my couch and say a sequence...
I wish I knew a audio/hardware tech IRL to help me with all my electronics stuff. I've learned so much about audio electronics recently. I don't think I have a good ear for setting up audio equipment properly, and calibrating the settings optimally.
I'm currently running my speakers through my subwoofer. I go from computer to receiver with optical audio cable, then from receiver to subwoofer using front outs on receiver to subwoofer, then subwoofer out via speaker wire to my speakers. I don't fully understand what crossover frequency I...
dang i cant figure out how to edit, meant to say "saw" instead of "say" ;) So whats the whole deal with their gold colored drivers, that got real gold in them somehow?
i think the 860 turboclocked is a wonderful option. For the average user, turboclocking, will be the most silent, power efficient, and fast enough to be unnoticeably slower than an all out overclock.
