Hi fellow Canadian.
I just bought mine this Monday from NCIX.
The price is high (466.68$), but I price matched it with PC-Canada (377.99$) and they approved. :)
And you can add the Express Coverage (Zero dead pixel guarantee).
Hurry up, because the 50$ rebate end April 30th.
Hi.
In your TV did you select HDMI as your audio source for the HDMI input?
Did you try other HDMI devices (DVD, BlueRay, Console) to your TV and did you have sound?
If you look at the specifications then Detailed Specs, you have more details.

Hi.
I have a little question.
If I bought Vista with the Windows 7 upgrade coupon, is it possible to install Vista on a new PC and upgrade another one (Windows XP) with the Windows 7 Upgrade.
Or the Vista and Windows 7 license are tied together.

The company that make MVA panel for Benq is AU Optronics Corporation, and this company is part of the Benq Group. It's strange they can't make more MVA panel for them self.
BenQ Group
I just download the manual from the Benq Taiwan and there is a 1:1 option in the Display Mode section of the menu.
But I don't know if it's apply to all country.

Hi.
Can you try to clock back your video card to stock.GFX: GeForce 7900 GT KO @ 1.5v volt-modded @ 605 gpu, 1610 ram
Maybe you video card doesn't like the new resolution with the OC setting.
You resolution goes from 1280x1024 / 1440 x 900 (19" LCD) to 1680x1050 (22")
I think the problem is how the card works.
The VGA port is the Primary and the DVI is the secondary.
When you boot your computer the POST is just show in the primary display.
Then Windows load and the drivers switch the ports (Vga as secondary and DVI as primary)
The solution is to tell the...

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for your notebook.
You have all the steps you need to remove the motherboard.
I don't think you can downgrade retail or oem operating system.
The downgrade path is only available to Volume Licensing Program if i remembered correctly.
They say "(1) year for CRT tube & LCD panel after the original date of consumer purchase"
for the warranty.
If you have your invoice you should be OK.

The problem is, he can't connect the Vga (analog) output of is computer to the Dvi (Digital) input of is monitor. There is no cheap adapter that can change Vga to Dvi-D, unless you want to pay 250$ and more. Gefen Vga to Dvi Adapter...
You can try this.
-Remove the monitor from the arm.
-Unthighs the 4 screw of the mounting bracket.
-Try to twist the mounting bracket CW or CCW, maybe there is enough play to cure your problem.
Good luck.
The minimum Gpu card you need is one with a Dual Link Dvi for the high bandwidth of your monitor.
If you want to do gaming at the native resolution (2560x1600) there is no cheap one.
The Mobility driver are hidden at the Ati/Amd site because we are supposed to download them at the notebook's manufacturer site.
Sometime the manufacturers tweak the driver to work correctly with there hardware.
