I'm trying to add wireless to this laptop, and I've installed two different Intel 2200BG's that I've had working on other laptops. the adapter installs without an issue, but it wont detect a wireless network from Sub 20 feet away. I've tried about 4-6 antenna's ( Other laptop's, one from a...
i cant believe this hasn't been said yet, but doesn't anyone remember Hard drive Acoustic control?
it has been a standard on a lot of hard drives for years now, And it will "slow down" the hard drive when its making to much noise ( or if someone is yelling at it, apparently. )

i'm running the Rad outside of the case, with 100% TT coolent,
i am not sure what other information i could give. :)
AC5 on the block, if that helps.
im running it on a AMD 64 3200+ @ 2.5Ghz ( 250FSB 1:1 ram ) and idle at 29C and load out at around 33C's and the Fan is on Med/Low
if i was to guess, i would say that you had some air bubbles stuck in the rad. its a Pain to work them out, but they do come out :)
Yea, that is basically what i am refering to..
i guess i will piece togeather the infor from the PCI-E Ones and see if i can get some resaults.

Hello all!
i just got this card for my media center to replace the Semi-working 5200 that was in it, and i am seeing these Vcore mod's for the PCI-e Vir and getting some CRAZY numbers out of it, and i am wondering if Anyone has seen the instructions and etc to Do the same with the Agp Vir...
as far as i have been told ( even in ther greenbutton ) Ati's Tv Tuner on the AIW's are Software based... MCE requires hardware based Tuners to work..
i could be wrong, but i do know that the 9700 IS infact a software based tuner.
No all in wonder will work with MEdia center ( atleast the TV Tuner part )
a firend of mine is running a 9700 pro and he isent having any issues thus far.
i got sage TV working, left it sit for ~2 hours with no issues..
Closed that and started MCE and BAm! lock! within 60 seconds.
i am downloading 3dmark to loop it and see if its the videocard, but i dont think it is...
could you gents think of anything else?
Zallright, i have rebuilt my media center again with a new HDD...

i am running my 3200+ @ 2.5ghz Atm, 10X 250 with 4X HTT at 1.58Volts.
i know i still have a little left if it ( i am aiming for 2.63ghz To max out the ram.. 1:1 is key )
you should be able to do the same mang, just keep trying at it, in Baby steps.
Also, run through the "TV setup" through MCE, it helps a ton.
also, if you have installed the MCE2005 Rollup 2, you might need to do some tweaking outside of the GUI to get it looking right.
Right now its an Orion 400watt PSU that i was using on my Amd64 box before replaced it with a zalman.
i have rebuilt the computer again, and it seems to have calmed down no random restarts or other wise.
you guys are still pointing to the PSU though?
IRQ 13 is being shared by the two USB controllers and the Radeon 9600..
irq 23 is being shared by another usb controller and the 550 pro
Eventlog in media center's area says:
thats the only Error, it happeneds each time the computer reboots after the crash.
Drivers are up to Date, (...
i had an intel ref Mobo in there before...
Now its this one...
i have little to no patence left for this thing, i have finished formatting it today.. installed all of the updates, and set it up to record the shows.
it recorded "Dirty jobs" and "Sports car Revolution", i sat down and...
yes, i have ran memtest for 8-10 hours and dident come up with anything.
And i have replaced the ram, Twice :)
Samsung at first, Then OCZ, then kingston...
its all good though, i have tryed GB-PVR and it was... Err, allright..
i am reformatting the box with media center yet again...
Uhh, sorry, i am not tossing another 100USD at the thing,
i have been checking out GB-PVR and i will be giving that a shot a little later on today.
( w000, format time! )
yea, thats what i am getting from it..
And yes, i have tryed to go for another Front end, but none of them are even close to MCE and etc in terms of the guides and etc.
also, i have the MCE remote and Keyboard that i would like to continue using :) so thats a challenge within itsself...
Hahah, Do you really want me to list it out?
