only if your recording stuff while playing, like especially in cs source for matches when i play the new harddrives would help, but for just average stuff, go with the 7800gt

in the properties line do -dxlevel 70, or 80, 81 or 90 for the different levels. in game do mat_dxlevel 70 etc in console

well no its more in the fact that i play competitivly and i was trying to see what i should be getting a little better for average. and that constant frame rate is really more of an issue.

for some reason i feel like my computer isn't performing to par, i have a amd64 newcastle 3500+ and a X850xt and at 800x600 i only average 141 fps in the video stress test, this doesn't seem right to me

should i download the processor driver from the amd website for my 3500+ newcastle? does it actually do anything or is it for 64 bit windows only?

I currently have a black wavemaster. I am not really too pleased with the cooling offered in this case. I have the blowhole installed and and aftermarket 80mm fan on the rear exhaust. Do you guys have any ideas that will keep the cases clean lines but improve cooling alot?

well i guess here is part 2, recommended brands, my 6600gt cards are msi they have been rock solid, but any suggestions on 6800gt brands, i was thinking just bfg cause i can get the pci-e ones at a local best buy.

well currently i have an 6600 gt sli system. My friend is building a new shuttle and wants to buy one of my cards off of me. I was looking into getting a 6800gt. Will i see much difference in games and benchies or are they about the same. (yay on the road to 6800gt sli :))

i think he means the tccd chips, bh-5, and ch-5. Is there a memory divider selector or is that just me messing with timings for the overclock.
