Mine was here by the 3rd in Oregon, also delivered Royal Post. Suprised it;'s taking so long for some. I ordered this after seeing the original deal on an SD thread. I think before it was even posted on [H], that must be why?
I'm thinking it's the Sharp AQUOS LC70LE632U due to the price and the specs. I don't think LG makes a 70", I believe Sharp is one of the few that makes sets that large outside of business purposed models.
Guess it comes down to how much your time is worth. Haven't priced similar 42" TVs lately, but for the size, it couldn't be more than maybe $500 normally and is it worth 24 (I would assume minimum) hours in line to save $300? Your time is worth $12.50/hr at that point assuming 24 hrs is...
I also am the owner of a 32 GB (4 actually and the 3 extras went to family and friends at cost, no profit). I know I love mine and haven't found much I need it to do that it won't. There are some websites that use java that the default browser doesn't do well with, but from 99% of the stuff I...
Just so everyone knows since this is the UK release, the first movie is called the Philosopher's Stone, not Sorcerer's stone. Apparently this was the original title of the first book and it was changed when it was published in America. Philosopher didn't have the association with magic like...
Beat me to it. Was gonna say if this was a classic "bait and switch", where was the product that they were switched to. Classic don't know my terms is more like it. :p
Not saying that the article is off due to energy price, I still think all your conclusions are justified. Just chiming in on prices in Oregon. This was a breakdown of my bill for this month. Seems a bit higher than .08 with everything added in. It's lower for the power, but the distribution...
They price match Newegg and Amazon for me all the time, they just have to include shipping. I don't see why they wouldn't price match Microcenter, though they may only price match an online price for them if they're not local. Worth a try either way. Is there anything on the ad that says B&M...
Recieved both of mine yesterday from Office Depot. Nice little device. Takes a while to update as it kept timing out when downloading the package. Maybe due to the high volume of traffic with all these sold. A few issues with the browser and comcast web mail, but other than that seems to...
I have the exact same setup, a C2Q 6700 @ 3.6 with a 6970 and was wondering the same thing because I am getting stomped by someone using a 6 core AMD @ 3.8 with a GTX295 in most benchmarks (we have turned physx off when possible and same outcome). And the Video scores are higher, not just CPU...
I'm not saying anything about the quality or picture modes as I don't own it or the previous model, but no component or composite? Right from their site: ColorStream Component Video (Y/Pb/Pr) 1 Port, and if the pics of the rear from Newegg are accurate it will accept composite as well.
If they had treated me like they did you, Canna, I might have said the item you ordered was defective, gotten a pre-paid shipping label and sent them a fresh box of what my dog had done that morning in the yard. Of course, not sure what kind of legal ramifications that would have and they do...
I assume that's correct. Like I said, I just let go one of of the keys for a split second and it works, but it does require some getting used to and if I played only FPS and racing games, I'd rethink my decision. As it is, I play a lot of RTS and RPG games as well as FPS and racing, and I've...
They keyboard is great for typing and what not, but in games it can get a little annoying since it won't take more then 2 keypresses at once. Makes holding shift, the forward key and jumping over something a little more difficult (like in GTA 4) as you have to let go of one. Makes it a little...
Just used them to pre-order homefront and get the free Metro 2033 deal (same deal steam had), and had the key for Metro 2033 within 30 seconds. Activated it on steam and it is downloaded and in my list. Homefront of course, won't allow keys to be sent until release. Also bought Civ V from...
TD is selling the Samsung UN55C5000 LED TV for $1299 w f/s with the code MRF11641. Seems like it might be an alright deal for people just looking for a very thin, LED TV. Downsides are no wireless, no widgets or apps and only 60 hz. I'm sure there are going to be better deals coming, but...
I think a few years ago you'd be seeing the Asus as > GA, but recently, especially with the P35 and P45 boards, Gigabyte has come into it's own. I think Asus has actually slipped a little from where they used to be IMHO and are not currently better than any other brand. Gigabyte is actually my...
Last I knew, Intel uses a quad piped 200mhz bus to get the 800mhz. So when you're messing with the bus, it'll be 200, but you have to remember to multiply the number by 4 to get the FSB. So 250mhz would get you running at 1000mhz FSB. Try checking for a ratio for your ram in the BIOS, you may...
For my TMobile plan it was $20 for all the phones on the plan to have unlimited txt whether you had 2 or 5. I had 5. Then I went to a contractless plan and unlimited txt is built into the plan, you just decide on minutes. Not bad if you like Tmobile.
One of the best looking cases ever, hands down, IMHO. Very clean, very classy, no bling or light up fans. Some might find it boring, but I can't get enough of this case and will have one! :D
The nice thing in this case I didn't notice until I got it was the removable 2.5" HD enclosure that can be powered via USB once you take it out of the bay so you can just pull it out and take it with you just like any 2.5" stand alone enclosure. Very nice for Lans if you wanna stick a HD in it...
Yes, please do as I have this as my Bedroom TV with and HTPC and after seeing it mounted and having no viewing angle issues at all, I would really like to get another and make it my main monitor. I LOVE this TV.
If it makes you feel any better, mine has been sitting in the box in my front room for 2 weeks from the buy.com sale and I even have the wall mount next to it and have been too busy to put it up. :(
