Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Forgot to mention. :\
Sadly, no, they aren't Sonus Fabers. They are Aurum Cantus's. A chinese manufacterer.
They sound absolutely mindblowing for the price. If you go grey import, you can get a pair of these to your door for roughly $800-900 USD. They have a much fuller sound than I expected...
It's a rebranded/repackaged 26" 720p Philips that was sold here by a large computer shop. I doubt you could get the same one across the pond. It's decent image but some ghosting in dark scenes.

It's going to be quite hard to get 100Amps out of 2V through 64ohm resistance. I'm going to agree with MrX, while full volume won't necesarily be good for the headphones, I doubt that it'd blow the drivers. Not before you kill your ears anyways.
Haha, this is awesome. Some quotes I would never see over there I suppose. :D
though I feel the same way, but crazy as he may be, Patricks posts allways start an entertaining thread.
Omegaslast: Nice collection! Those Cambridges look like a very fine speaker for the money.
Notebook and desktop harddisks are two seperate things. The first is made to be shaken up a little (note that allmost allways if something dies on a laptop it's either the dvd rom drive or the...
Wow, now there's a nice contradiction. One beyer spokesperson saying it's just a DT770 with a MIC, and then one saying it's not. This is interesting, I'll be calling Beyer on monday to get to the bottom of this. Thanks for bringing that post to my attention, I definitely won't say that it's the...
Great job!
Yes, they are the same. Look up the thread here I created named 'For the gamers' or something like that. A european Beyer spokesperson/distributor on Head-Fi has verified that the HS-300 is actually a DT770 with a MIC.
Edit, here it is.
