Koosh's rule! I have one sitting on top of a can of spam, which is sitting on top of my PC. I've had it for ages though... not sure where to get new ones.

Nice rig Adrian... you should come to the Toronto meet. I'm trying to get Konig to come with his lessloss DAC and ES-1. He still doesn't have his O2's, poor guy. :(

Yeah, that's the only thing that would be interesting, I guess. And a ES-1 vs. Aristaeus comparision. It's not worth it for me though, because he'd piss me off way more in person than on MSN/Head-Fi (which is already a LOT).

I found an old NEC MultiSpin 6Xe at work... brought it home and plan on painting it a nice black and using it as the transport for a nice mini bedside rig. Should be fun.

THE amp is coming in on Sunday and I will be sure to post pics here as well as on Head-Fi. I've been waiting so long that I feel sort of giddy now that I will have it in two days. :eek:

heh, saw your post in the diy-section.. i think i saved those NEC schematics somewhere... I am gonna see if I can find them for you... i took the I2S data from the NEC and ran it to my NOS dac i built and i think i remember having some problems... i gotta startup that project again someday... unfortunately even those the NEC makes an excellent transport it is very picky with disks... mine had emotional issues reading CD-R's or disks with tiny surface scratches that my samsung dvd player had no issue with

As for the amp... thats been delayed until Tuesday evening. This had better be the last delay. :(
