I started the 32 bit download but is said complete after only 420 megs ? what do I do .... burn the 420 megs to iso and open that to continue ?
You can install it and activate later
I've been using it all day, and just now spamming refreshing the page for about 2 hours -_-
I'm slowly getting used to the task bar, but honestly I don't really see this as any more efficient than the regular task bar.
You're joking right?
You get to see the entire window of a app just buy hovering over it and being able to switch between windows quickly by hovering is very useful. Plus you can now move the items around in the task bar, including the notification area.
The only thing I have found that didnt work after I installed Windows 7 is my card reader, which Vista did Find when It was installed..

I have one of those, the exact model, purchased a few weeks ago at Fry's here in Vegas, and Windows 7 x64 (and x86 too) both had it up and running after the installation. The USB ports worked without issues, and I tested the card reader with an SD card (microSD in an adapter, an 8GB Memory Stick Duo Pro, and a 128MB CompactFlash card). All recognized and functional from the gitgo... wonder why it's not picking it up in your situation. Hmmm...
From the looks of it, they are only handing out about 5-6 different keys, I've seen keys posted that are the exact same as the one I got
I had multiple tabs open with Firefox and C4C last night when I went to bed and they all generated a different key to use this morning.
Hmm, so I tried installing, and I seem to be having a problem. Install gets to the screen where it says "Installation is Starting" or something, after the first screen where you pick language. Well, when it's at the next screen I get an error message that says something to the sort of can't find install.wim. Happened on my computer and my friends computer, and we both had our own discs. What could be causing this? The file is on the DVD. I re-downloaded the ISO file, so I'm gonna burn another one and see if I have better luck. The other thing is that both ISO files I downloaded don't have a matching MD5 to what was posted earlier in this thread. Anyone know what the problem could be, or what I should do?
I've got two more going. One more from the MS direct link, and one torrent. I don't really want to get it from a torrent site, but I'm just curious to see if I get a good file that way as I'm not having much luck with the direct links. Question though, if the MD5 from the torrent file matches, that means there's no way anyone tampered with the file right? If it matches, then it's perfect?
hmm, so those direct links are still working for people? yesterday they cut out for me at random times saying download complete, guess ill try again.
aye, if just 1 bit was changed in the iso then the md5 hash wouldn't match![]()
yeah, fix your calendar.... its not 10/1/2009...Any ideas?
