Absolut's use of TNT was far more extreme than what the rest of the users use. He knew large batches of TNT screwed up the server, and he deliberately set off extremely large batches of TNT. I guess you could consider it a sort of indirect method of griefing. Nobody's stuff was touched except for his own, yet his actions had an effect on everyone else.

Of course, you completely disregard that, and blow it completely out of proportion.
 
So heres the deal.

I had someone come forward to me, and apparently NO ONE is telling me whats going on in game anymore.

Vycor, I am the one who removed your builders privledges, but understand, a removal of privlidge like that is usually EXTREMELY temporary. I had done so because you were not respecting players (rule #1) not only out of game, but also INGAME. I have logs that show so. If you had waited until later, you would have had them back in less time than you think! However, I at this time, since evidence of griefing was shown, will not remove the ban against you.

Second, I want people to understand, YOU CAN come forward to me and things will be handled discretely and no names will be given out. If you see something, let me know, you will be kept anonymous.

I respect everyone and all that they do, I just wish people would speak up more to me and no be afraid. There is no reason to fear talking to me, or Nick, or Fweeple.

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE speak up to me. Thank you!
 
Just so everybody knows, i didnt ask for my privilages back to grief. I was tired of all the drama i was going to remove my private signs and give baby and sokyo my stuff. But then arr4ws just ticked me off with his stupid comments that i felt the need to just grief him. I know theres a backup and sure enough everything got restored. Sorry to those who lost their creations during that restore process, wasnt directed you, was only directed at arr4ws.

Im not asking to be unbanned, what i did isnt acceptible, i griefed arr4ws place, it is what it is, i knew the punishment when i did it, i'd be banned, so im fine with that.

He constantly followed me around, teleported to me, started telling me where i could and couldnt go, where i could and couldnt build, what i could and couldnt see, etc... i mean what right does he have to do that. He'd keep teleporting me saying "your not allowed in there" etc.. i mean if im not allowed someplace, then why was i /invited to a place? why was there no private door, etc...

what right does he have to start attacking me at random, damaging my armor (thats one of the rules is it not, NO PVP, yet he was immune to that?). constantly abusing what privilages he does have.

So because of all that "abusive" and "ego trips" thats why i decided to teach him a lesson for a few moments till the backup was restored.

im not apologizing for my actions nor, as i said, asking to be unbanned. obviously i had issues with the way the server was hosted, its slow (go on a real MC server with good bandwidth and you'll know what i mean), it lagged all the time, we had RULES against using certain items in the game (what cant use TNT< its part of the game... lags the server? well obviously server cant handle MC then)... i always said, i do appreciate g1 hosting it/etc... but i mean you want this to be a community thing, yet you dont want to listen to the community. numerous people (besides me) have offered to host it, start up donations, pay for hosting, etc... yet nobody wanted to budge.

anyway that was basically my "goodbye" action... give two people who i respected my gear and teach one asshole a quick lesson in manors. childish? yeah maybe, but then again arnt all games a bit childish which is why we play them? some people are kids, so childish is in their nature, but the rest of us who are over the age of 18 play games because its fun and makes us feel like a kid again, and thats the whole idea. if my action was "childish" well its JUST A GAME. would i do that in real life, hell no, id be your best friend in real life and a real companion to the end, but im not here looking for phone #'s, im playing a video game and luckily in a video game if someone rubs you the wrong way, there are ways to handle that, like "griefing" in this example, it causes no real pain or loss to anybody, and you can fix it quickly... wish all arguments/disagreements could be handled in a virtual game, but thats not the life we live in, thankfully, in this case, it works.

gluck with all the builds guys, you guys made some good designs, and to those with "admin" privilages, dont abuse them, the whole idea behind a community is that just, keeping people happy and not bullying them around.. dont make a rule, enforce it and then break that rule yourself (yeah im looking again at you arr4ws)

Second........ if your over 18, I find it truly hard to believe you are being mature for your age.

A mature person would have nipped these issues in the butt in the first place and would have settled a dispute quickly and would not have resulted or demeaned ones self to lower forms of getting attention.

Your digs on the server are heavily unwanted. Ive been on "real" MC servers and find them to have just as many hiccups. It truly depends on the mods that the server runs. We run alot of mods to make game play MORE enjoyable which does take its tole and lag the server.

Theres nothing wrong with TNT either, its just that some people thought it was fun to do 1000+ tnt at a time, and thats what ruined it for everyone else. You allow one, you all them all.

Were not saying DONT USE TNT, were saying, DONT USE 1000 TNT!

Before unloading a bunch of nonesense, read the thread again, all 100+ pages before you start ragging on something thats free for a good community.

I respect you Adam, and in tern, IRL im sure you are a nice person. But in game, you do not reflect yourself and its a shame, cause I see a side of people in game that I hope I never see IRL.

Communities like those exist? Well he should have no trouble than!

If you dislike our server than by all means, no one is telling you you cant find another server to go to! Greatone123 gives this server freely to this community, and alot of us appreciate it very well!

the only thing i hate right now is no repair mod. I keep having to ask for diamonds from other players. Trying to build something huge and the diamond axe doesnt last.

other than that, it is great to see what people come up with to build.

I'm going to ignore basically all of your asinine comment, because really, it's just dumb. At this point you're basically just a troll. I do want to comment on the above though. We DO NOT have TNT use outright banned. If we did, it would be disabled. All we do is RESTRICT the use of it to smaller amounts detonated at once. It happens to do bad things to our server, I don't care what it does to other servers, but to ours it lags the hell out of it. Really, there's no need to detonate that much TNT at once anyways.

Also, you clearly don't appreciate G1's hosting, because you've been bitching and complaining about it since the day you came on. Why you stayed on as long as you did, I don't know. I mean, you literally were complaining about the lag from the beginning. Good lord man, shut the hell up with it already.

You're correct that this is a "community" server, but what everyone needs to realize is that when it comes down to it, this is also a private server, hosted by one person, out of the goodness of his heart. So lay off the shit about the server already.

Oh, and one last comment that I can't help but make; You're not teaching arr4ws a lesson as you thought you would. Especially when you yourself acknowledged that we'd just rollback the server. That's a completely harmless grief, that did nothing but disrupt other innocent players. Gooch for instance lost quite a bit of his build, because YOU were an asshole.
 
I want to reiterate FrEaKys (insomnibytes) post as well; If anyone is having any issue in game - a player griefing, if you see rules being broken, people being assholes, WHATEVER THE REASON, please contact us either in game or through PM here.

We'll try and handle the situation quickly, and we will be discrete.

Don't forget that you can send private comments in game too with /tell <player name>
 
There was a bit of an issue with lava near Gooch's place. Gooch, I think it was just a tree that got burned down, but you'll see some cobble/dirt in a weird pile that was my blocking the lava from flowing out and then cutting off the source. It may not be gone when you log-in because the chunk won't update if nobody's in it and I'm not there any more. Like I said I think it's just a tree, but if you lost anything because of this let me know and I'll see what I can do about replacing it for you.

Really? Because he got harassed as much as anyone (deservedly or not) and some of his stuff got removed by other players.

No, I think the server has crashed. The dynamic map still shows both of us in, but I can't get past "logging in".

Maybe I won't use the redstone lighting plugin after-all :/

lol i couldnt even log in so i restarted my computer and now i can log in but not connect to the server, i tried texas' server but i couldnt connect on that either as a test.

There is no whitelist! Login and any admin can give you build rights. :D
 
it's after 2 here, is probably asleep now. maybe he can look at it before he heads to work at 10 tonight.
if nothing else leave him a voicemial, maybe he will get that before he heads out.
