o crap i hope it comes in the retail case... cuz i was plannin on just takin it up to a store and getting store credit for it since i already have vista and its a piece of crap anyways. ahhhhhhh hope it doesnt come in a sleeve. Btw its weird cuz like if you order the parts from the bundle seperately, they're available for shipping in 2-3 days from intel... but cuz we're the "retail edge" people, we have 4 - 6 weeks. O well as long as it comes before Christmas.

It will be a sleeve, just like the past 2 years with a stamp on the disk "Not for Resale"

I had to reactivate my old hardocp account so I could post instead of "lurk".

If you arent verified try calling or emailing them.

I faxed 3x and waited a week with no response, so I ended up emailing them a very nice kiss-butt letter and the next day I was verified.

Here is hoping the backorder ends soon!
 
DAMN THAT SLEEEEVE! O well.... Thanks to the Microsoft ExpertZone i've already gotten a loooooooad of Walmart Store-Credits, enough to buy a whole computer practically... minus the parts that actually matter and should never be bought from Walmart.

But atleast now I'll be able to have a LEGAL version of Windows for the very first time in my life : )

AH, I understand. I thought you meant through intel.
Honestly, as an Ultimate x64 user, I would stick with Home Premium x64. All of the stuff that's really worth it are in HP. VI really cannot tell you any features of Vista I use in Ultimate that don't come in HP. That includes Texas Hol'em poker, lol.

The only thing that worries me is the last sentence. I have 9425 chips...so does this mean that I dont get double chips (ie. its only double until you have 9000)? It would be really REALLY ****ing stupid if thats how it was....I REALLY need that Q6700 =/
 
i got the email too and i have over 1300 and the q6700 ordered so i think anyone can earn them

Checked my bank account, debited for roughly 267. Got happy, logged into intel. Shipment has been sent to warehouse and shipment pending!

PS: I was pre-verified at an intel event and ordered my bundle no more than 5 minutes after the site was updated on November 5th..... I was pre-charged that day and it lasted for two days until November 7th when it expired. Now today the charge showed up and it is NO LONGER in backorder status.

was pending for 2 days when I ordered, then dissappeared till today and re-charged.

mine is pending shippment with an Intel shipping number

you must be a few 100 behind me black (1st x is 2)
 
Bank statement had the hold but then it expired. and im still pending i was backordered for the first few days then it went to pending. now im still at

You check the bank statement recently? see if the pending charge that expired re-posted?
 
Yea i just checked it online, no holds...maybe ill annoy them and give em another call after class...

eh, most likely Monday, but depending how close you are to the HUB.
in previous post here, someone in Cali elected for over nite and someone in Ill. elected for standard last year. Both got it the same day after shipping.

I am, if it ships today, I will receive it tomorrow. If it ships tomorrow, Friday :(.
 
My order also went to pending shipment and my account has been charged. BTW I ordered ground shipping and I live in MO so I should get it on Wednesday if it ships today.
