Just a quick question, what SATA ports are locked on the DFI NF3 250GB? Also, I searched all over DFI-Street, and I cannot find any guide to tweaking this board other than that memory guide, and its not helping muchHopefully once I get it all settled, I can throw up some screens

don't forget about the sticky here, it's based around the dfi nf4, which is pretty damn similarEmission said:I used one posted earlier in the thread, lol. Its the guide mathot posted:

mathot said:Well, clockgen was working fine a few days ago. It got me to the 415 htt. Now even 1, 5 or 10 mhz jumps wont change cpuz or cbid. Maybe I'll just reformat...
Edit- So as I'm tweaking, I find I can't run 250x8. I have 1.45 vcore 2.7 mem and all others stock. Ram setting per dfi street guide for tccd at 2.5-3-3-6...so what gives? I'm not having the best of times with this s754...windows loads slower than my xpm and bf2 thrashes the hard disk so much it gets 2 fps...I feel like rma'ing it all

mathot said:Ok thanks tsue, Im in 1, and 2. I tried 2 and 3 but it wouldnt boot.
Eclipse, didnt change any boot settings. It just seems like it sits at the winxp splash screen and the little bar keeps going and going...
mathot said:Yeah, I'm going to reinstall, and this time put back my raid 0 setup. Reading what douglite said, raid shouldn't be that big of a difference, but I'll do it just to see.
And I was just saying 2 and 3 wouldnt boot...![]()
doesn't matter if you changed them, i just want to know what you're usingmathot said:Eclipse, didnt change any boot settings. It just seems like it sits at the winxp splash screen and the little bar keeps going and going...
