Love your socket 754?

Ok listen guy's pc ice is a good guy and make's some good unit's but right now i have seen a few problem's with his unit's....But then again all of us phasechange builder's have had a few problem's pc ice can be found over at OCX forum.

as for the high HTT run's im still waiting on my LiquedNitrogen tube from MickeyMouse :)
 
In due time :) my problem right now is i have to have a s754 Venice..but im loving this turion mobile..so should i just get a new dfi and the venice or try 1 of the NF4 s754 mobo's and this new chip?
 
Isn't 456 htt the max on the dfi nf3? A board that could hit 500 htt would be insane. Btw, is it in this thread that (cf)eclipse hit his 433 record? I wanna know how he did it.
 
clock gen goes to 500
the mobo in bios has a limit but the PLL can do 500mhz acording to the datasheet.
 
1.55v with water,still tweaking but i feal a new s754 world record comming on here soon and ill be doing it for the S754 club right here :)

it was TONS of trial and error. as you may or may not know, this mobo cant do anything below the 2.5x htt multi, meaning the 2x and 1x dont work and provide nothing above what 2.5x does. he used straight up water with his for the HTT record in here.

also, id LOVE to see a WR for s754 speed for the s754 thread. i think your gonna hafta boost over 3.56ghz or some crazy shit set by conrad maranan or someone over at XS. keep up the good work. :D

the funny thing is that my newark was slightly better than his with air, i could have taken that down with an LN2 tube :(

I am still waiting for my s754 cpu. i have a DFI waiting for this cpu to arrive, here is a story, i rma'd a 2800+ a64 that i bought out on a forum, it didnt work. amd agreed that the cpu is dead and they didnt have 2800+ so they said they will send me a 3000+ , then 2 days later they changed to 3200+ and now i am at 3400+ and still waiting for the processor. maybe i will eventually get a 3700 + ;). anybody have an idea of how far i can go on 3400+ newcastle? with a DFI and ocz tccd mem?
 
i will be on air cooling, xp-120 with a jmc 120mm fan. and 2 80mm panaflos in the case. my PSU is 550W truepower.

Man mobile chips are a pain in the arse. Reset does not work at all....it's power down each time.

I've finally had time to get back to this Newark...torture testing at 2755/1.6V now. We'll see how it goes.

Definately interested in the S754 Venice overclocking results. I think you are the first person around here to be sporting one of those babies.

As soon as I get my S754 Venice 3000+ and DFI, im gonna overclock to t3h max...see how well I do on air. Then I wanna join the club!! :D

Eh, my venus was doing 2.9 at 1.35v. The 4000+ does have Opteron/FX steppings, so that's good.

baron u n00b. where have you been! also, im excited for Newark because its BINNED to 2.6ghz with 1.35v. also, i saw a s754 Opteron es.
 
I've heard rumors about the s754 Opterons, but haven't found anything about them yet. Where did you see them?

Also, a little update on my s754 3000+ Venice, I was able to get into Windows at 280x10 at stock... but I think my RAM is holding me back. :( Still pretty good though at stock. ;)
