Diablo 3 Discussion Thread

Wow the rmah is incredible. Sold 2 crappy items and got 28 bucks. I have half of the cost of the game from selling two items that wouldn't even sell for me on the gah.

Correct me if im wrong, but you can use blizzard bucks on other blizzard merchant, right? So if an expansion comes out I can buy it with that?

I just sold a rare amulet I found in A1 Inferno last night for over $100.

I can't fucking believe it. I'm actually mad now because I could've probably sold it for more, now that I know there are crazy motherfuckers out there.

These were the stats:

+9-18 Damage
+113 Intelligence
+99 Vitality
+10% Life
+15% IAS
Crit Hit Chance +5%

Correct, the idea is to keep the money in Blizzards hands.

WoW subscription
Mists of Pandaria
Any wow fees (server transfer, mounts, ect)
Heart of the Swarm
Legacy of the void
D3ex

Alright, someone help me here:
Every time, AND I MEAN EVERY TIME, a blue pack.blues + a yelow/en-lvl boss spawns, I lag out. I normally run around 80-120 ping, and have no issues vs regular trash mobs. But once one of these spawns, I go to pings over 2000, and invariably die. It does not feel like I am lagging though, since the chat continues normally. But by the time the game catches up, I have died. I can respawn and go back to my body but teh same will happen at least once again, before I can approach and combat normally.

Again, this does not happen with regular mobs...

Also, this is a recent occurance. I got to Act II Hell, and never had an issue.

Welcome to my world. :) I just waited for Blizz to redo the servers over and over then one day I stopped lagging so hard, but I still get what you're talking about all the time. I just accept death due to lag as imminent and go on with life.

Wait until you're across the room and regenerating health then suddenly you explode for no reason known to man. Those are the fun lag deaths!

To be fair, those are some great stats. Not $100 great though haha.

That is a pretty ridiculously good item. I could see someone paying $250 for that.

I don't honestly see the point of paying real money for end game gear, though, frankly - I mean isn't the point of the game to find gear? What's the fun in just buying it all? What do you do then.. ? Show off your account?

But whatever, it opens it up for me to make some money by playing a game haha.

I am getting annoyned. I screwed myself by being greedy and listing a bunch of crap up really fast at kind of expensive prices lol. Now I am stuck with 10 auctions not selling that I cant cancel...I have tons of things that probably would have sold if I would have been smart.

I need to rip people off! :)

Sold all my gear.. Made 350+ $..

And game is uninstalled.

Thank Blizzard ;)

Now's the time to get in on the RMAH action, before the luster fades and people realize their wallets aren't limitless :p

Nice one dude, we don't even have the RMAH yet in europe. I wish i had saved items i had a barb chest with 127 strength, 79 vit, 39 resist all and 3 sockets.

Gave it to my mate. :)

no no no no no.

theres a fee for listing. a flat fee. then a transfer to paypal fee thats the 15%.

transactions inside your b.net accound only have a 1$ fee

if you take it out of their system its 1$ fee plus 15%

Here us how it currently works for equipment and weapons..
Battle.net account, $1 fee, your money stays in Blizzards pockets since you can't transfer it anywhere.
PayPal , $1 fee and 15% transfer fee.
The fees are only if an item sells, there is no listing fee.

I guess you buy the shit for your dude so that you can farm inferno and find items and sell them and hope to make a profit.

well not bad so far made 100 bucks :D
now if people would buy more of my crap
i could get a new heli

Can you show the stats of items you are selling guys im really intrigued on what to expect

I noticed that all the 1000 dps wands and up don't go for any less than 6 million gold now for a blue and 8 or 9 million for a yellow. Glad I picked up my 1050 dps one a week back when it was 5 million. Crazy that people are listing 1000 dps wands for $100-$250.

Why are there so many items for $250? Is that the max possible Buy Now listing price? If you do no listing price, will the auction be allowed to reach as high as people are willing to bid?

I initially told myself I wasn't going to sell on the RMAH at all because I felt it would cheapen my experience. But now that I've beaten the game on Inferno, all I seem to do is farm crap over and over. Might as well profit off of it.

$250 is the max for an item. If 2 or more people bid on an item, the first one to put $250 as the max will win the item.

People watched Kripparrian sell a few completely garbage items for $250 each and now want to do it with everything. It's sort of like sniping for the lowest common retardinator and hoping that they bid on your disgustingly overpriced item.

So I am hoping some one who shops at BB comes around!:p

Just finished nightmare last night, how much not 1 single boss dropped any yellows in nightmare?

Also, hell is pretty hard... :/

I'm going to wait for the RMAH market to settle down. It's too crazy with pricing right now. The same item can have a $2-$250 buyout price range. Maybe in a few weeks or a month things will even out. If it stays in that crazy arena, I'll probably forego trying to sell stuff.

Apologies as this has probably already been answered, but has Blizzard set a USD/Gold rate yet? When I was on yesterday evening it wouldn't show any results if I searched for gold..

Oncr you beat the game in Inferno mode, there is really nothing to do but to farm and get real money for this over hyped game.

I bet a lot of sales are farming-driven too. People buying things to more efficiently farm later acts in the hopes of recouping their investment.

The possibility of finding something worth a lot of cash is a bit exciting. Last night I got a legendary...oh sweet I'm gonna get paid...then it turned out to be crappy. :p

Once PvP gets patched in the urge to be competitive and win will drive sales. Personally I bought a nice cheap set of magic find gear (with gold), and am selling my progression gear. Enough gear to still do Butcher runs in A1 inferno.

There's a way around it. If you go to your clock and set the date a few days early, you can cancel the auctions. Another flaw with Blizzard's coding. Not sure if they patched that or not?

Is anybody actually playing it anymore or just farming to sell shit?

Probably just farming shit to sell now if they're still playing. My friends list used to show between 8 - 10 people online on d3 in the beginning, now I only see a few online at a time if I'm lucky.

They have stated that to get rares, they want you to fight champions and elites.

They did that to stop people from doing boss runs.

I thought they said that bosses were supposed to drop 1-2 guaranteed rares, though.

i hit level 58 yesterday on my wizard still trying to wrap up Act 2 on hell it is so annoying hate that act. i still find garbage items all the time i have no luck in this game, yet my party member found a sick legendary glove and i have 60 hours in not 1 legendary found. i have to buy gear to replace anything i have from AH cuz i find crap 24/7.. :( it gets to be disappointing after awhile plus i dont have a ton of gold so it becomes kind of disgusting to even login. I'll play tomorrow hopefully i can try to friggin get thru the rest of hell.
