I usually use Gamestop but I chose Target because I had 10% off order coupon so I basically "got" the expedited same day delivery for free. So i was paying $111 with tax.

They changed my arrival date to September after they release date was changed from February got pushed back, I emailed their CS they said it would ship as soon as the game was released.

So I called today to get their useless customer support, all the woman could say was sorry and according to their data base the product wont be available till September and they wont be shipping me anything tomorrow. I tired to escalate to a manger but didn't get anywhere.

Lesson learned I will stick with Gamestop in the future...

GW2 claims to have solved it with their overload server. Seems like blizz should have done the same.

I know its a little late but for the future, I saw something on the blizzard account page about SMS messages that can be used for account retrieval, and removing the authenticator. So once you deal with the pain of fixing your account, look into that.
 
Standard Blizzard procedure at launch... servers are down, youg et either Error 37 - "Servers are busy" or Error 75 battle.net server cluster down.

Forums in Europe are just exploding with nerdrage, QQ and such, and people asking Blizz, why the hell stress tests and open beta did not prepare the servers for launch.

Well, I did expect such thing, but I blame Blizz for forcing me to play SP via battle.net, not for the server crash at start.

On the other hand, if on any MMO forum anyone will start the nonsence as "THis is the worst launch since beginning of days. Just take example from Blizz",he will be reminded the D3 launch. Going to sleep, I just hope I'll be able to log before weekend ;)

Well, I had stopped playing my WoW account for a few months after Wrath came out and I left the mobile authenticator app tied to my account. When I went back to play again, I found out that someone had replaced the linked authenticator with another one and that my characters had been transferred. I had to go through the whole drivers license thing to clear it up.

After all that they then told me that I could protect my account by using an authenticator and offered to mail me one for free...

They are predicting loging may take up to 40 seconds when they go live, but I am not worried- With server technology these days rapid expansion can be done within hours, where it used to take weeks to months.

Blizzard I feel has done a good job- I started to lose faith towards the end, but from what I have seen, I am happy they took the time to do this right. and I am also more than happy to pay the 60 dollar price tag for it. The graphics alone make me so happy.

honestly they fixed the asian servers hella quick... eu is struggling though
 
Playing an online Blizzard game day one of launch, patch, etc. Yeah right keep dreaming. I was going to wait up til 4am eastern tonight and log in but I think I'll just goto bed and wake at like 8 or so.
 
I just pulled the trigger on a digital download through blizzard... I don't expect to play tonight but hopefully tomorrow or the next day... I guess Amazon was out of stock before launch? Had to cancel my order there as the delivery date showed like the 18th or something.. lol probably won't be playable until the 18th anyways.. *sigh*
 
I just went for a digital version through Blizzard... had ordered the physical from amazon but then realized... it's nicer to just install through the downloader anyway :D. Looking forward to playing, I wasn't really too excited until the last few days when I realized it would be fun :p.
 
I am sure lots know this but from what I am reading eyefinity and surround modes are not officially supported but works if you use "Full Screen Windowed." mode. Seems eh, odd.. but I am going to try it. :)

Now I'm not regretting ordering the CE from amazon, doubt attempting to play at 12 am would even amount to much.
 
At first I was pissed because I work tonight, but maybe it's for the best as I can come home 6-7 hours after launch and hopefully they'll have most of the issues sorted out.

Just got back from the local shop and picked up a regular edition, CE's were for pre-orders only... the box feels very waxy. Was tempted to get Max Payne 3 for Xbox 360 or PS3, but I am just gonna wait for the PC release.

All in all, I am ready for hell to make it's entrance.

Dayum even gave me 3 guest passes.
