you should be getting around 21k or so... those drivers are WAY old and i would reccommend updating to the whql 66.93's. 28k isn't very possible with the 6800gt.

I really would prefer to sell the system as a whole, but if i can get offers on most of the items in the system, sure ill part. Ill put individual prices on the parts as well.
If your a frequent WoW player, don't touch these drivers. Crash to desktop occurs in this game only and HOPEFULLY, these issues will be worked out, back to the 66.93's :D
Supposidly this is one of the newest core revisions, i had about 30 different chips to pick from at work, and this one was the most current. The heat spreader was left on the chip, i was tempted to remove it but it seems to be epoxied on the core... and i don't wanna risk a 200 dollar chip lol...
Sure i could part the combo, not a problem.
Kt6v - 55$ shipped
AXP1700 Tbred B - 45$ Shipped
id like to also mention that the board comes with the manual, sata cable, ide cable, backplate and drivers cd.
cheers
Well, i haven't really tryed going lower on the voltage, i may tonight. The real problem with my oc is that my memory caps out at 250 fsb, anything after this point gets unstable. So... tomorrows project will be grabbing some new memory and pushing this chip to its max! (shooting for 2.8).

just wanted to know how far i should push this chip... i mean 1.65v 45c under 100% load for 24 hours on air! I just wanted some insight if this is a normal oc, its my first A64 OC
experience.
TYVM in advance
What type and rating PSU? have you tryed just the board/video/mem/proc outside the case?
may want to try these, and if your powersupply is lacking that could cause something similar to your symptoms.

in your temps you really don't mention ambient case temps, that could play huge in your video cards temps. Sure AS5 would help, but like said only on a flat sink, i recommend lapping the stock sink or just invest in a NV silencer 5. Lap that sink and use some AS5! be warned that there is a nice...
Personally there are only two boards id currently build a xp system on(ive basically built on every manufacture's board @ work)
1. Asus A7N8XE-DLX
2. MSI K7N2 Delta Plat
Both are amazing boards, can't go wrong with either choice!
Just a update note, added a NV5 Silencer to my MSI 6800GT(Flashed with the leadtek bios). The card before with the stock cooler auto detected 421/1.4, and ran it successfully at 70C (load). Added a NV5 Silencer today, now the card auto detected 450/1180!! and to boot 63c under extreme load!(no...

Flashed my MSI 6800GT (non-oc) that did 421/1.15 successfully with the stock bios
Temps with the msi bios(420/1.15) - 49 idle/59 load
Temps with the leadtek ultra bios(440/1.21) 52 idle/ 64 load!
This is all on the stock cooler!!!!!!!

Im hard fixed ati fan,and would like to remain that way! :D the 6800 is a awesome card, but i'd rather stick to an ATI card if at all possible.
The card is made by MSI (TD-256) 3 weeks old, comes with the retail box, DVI to VGA adapter, Svideo cable, and the software bundle (myst uru, win...
