What are your settings?
poll: 1000hz
DPI: 1800
on-the-fly sensitivity: 5.5
I'm not really sure what the difference is between using 1800DPI and lowering the OTF sensitivity or using 900 DPI and keeping the OTF sensitivity to the max.
Oh, so meaning if I have a new computer, I can re-activate it using same product key, its just that my old computer (even if I don't uninstall anything) will be deactivated?
I've got the retail version of Vista Home Premium. On the Microsoft web site, it says:
"If you acquire Windows Vista via retail purchase (boxed product), it may only be installed on one computer at a time. You may choose to uninstall Windows Vista from the initial computer and install it on...
Why's everyone hating on this post? It sounds like a legit problem to me.
I am looking to get 4870x2 and so I would like to know the potential problems of this thing and the workarounds.
Was the solution just something that could be fixed while tweaking in the CCC? Why didn't it work...
Ultimate is useless. Go with Home Premium.
With Ultimate you just get like a few new programs that you'll never use. Plus you get two new sound schemes... big whoop.
Deciding on what OS for my pure gaming build.
I've been reading reviews that there's not much difference in gaming between 32 or 64 bit versions. If this is the case, is it better that I stick to 32 bit Vista, so that I can be sure everything will work fine?
I've got a Pro.DAC - it's from the same people who made the zhaolu dac. Right now I've got this setup connected to super.fi 5 pro's. When when I game it'll either go out to px100 or ath-a500s
I've got an external DAC + RSA hornet. Anybody tried to play games with this? Or is it better to digital out to a home theatre amp and use the headphone out from there?
I was watching a video on youtube from tjharlow on his Antec 1200 gaming rig build (link I think is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQGOmu1icW4 not sure because youtube is blocked at work), and when he was describing about connecting the PSU to his video card, he said don't use the two cables...
OK. I finally got past the water bike level and playing in Ravenholm. It's more "acceptable" now, but I'm still completely lost in the story - as in I don't know where I'm going and why. But this is probably because I didn't play original Half Life. Maybe I will read up on the storyline to...
Oh but I am - I've just played console mostly (ps2 + ps3)
I am building my ultimate insane gaming rig in Q4 2009... its going to be ATI 5870x4 CFx10!! Full tower with just video cards baby...!!
What?! You don't need to upgrade at all!
I'm coming from an Athlon XP 1800!! and Radeon All-in-wonder 8500! And I'm still waiting for the next big thing.....
How does the Goliathus stomp the Mantis? Texture is better? Build quality better?
I want to get a nice mouse pad and trying to find some justification in spending so much $ on a razer pad.
Yes this is one of the main points I didn't like. It's so linear. Sometimes I don't even know why I am going to so and so place. I just go because it's the only direction for me to move.
Well, I am just playing it the 1st time now (my first half life game), so obvious the graphics are not stunning to me.
As far as the story goes, I don't get it. He's this doctor guy who's supposed to escape from a prison? Is that it?
I played it for a few hours, I'm at the part where I'm on this water bike, but I just don't have the urge to continue playing. It's just very boring to me.
What is it about Half Life that everybody loves so much? I'd really like to know!
I've been playing on PS3 and I want to get back into PC gaming soon, and part of the reason is because I like playing with hardware. With the PS3, it's just buy the game, and play the game, that's it. But with PC, you need to tinker around with the settings and stuff to maximize the FPS, which...
Yeah, sorry. I meant to say if monitor and TV are the same size, then quality should be the same..
of course from 3 feet away, 32" would look worse than 24" no matter monitor or TV....
Why is that? If TV resolution is 1920 x 1080 ... and monitor is 1920 x 1200, shouldn't it look about the same (assuming the TVs and monitors are the same size)
