Intel is still piss poor at making them flat. If you use a Dtek Fuzion then I do believe it works better with a convex IHS.

What I like about that Gigabyte is that it has 8 USB ports on the back I/O panel. What I don't like about it is it looks like a kindergartener's coloring book. The DFIs look way sexier with their all black/green color scheme but I would never pay $200+ for a mainboard. I would stick with a DK...

Would this be worth it over a GTS640? My GTS runs all my games decently @ 1920x1080, except for Crysis. I only use 2xAA and 8xAF.

The big ones are 1080p which IMO is perfect for a monitor.

No. 680i runs around 70c even with the fan on full blast. Look in BIOS it should be called MCP. Northbridge is SPP. Best option is to get rid of the 680i, and get an Intel board.

Now THIS is entirely worthy as a monitor. Terrific as a TV too. I got it for $669. :) Could have gotten it for $369 though. 1920x1080 res, 10:000:1 contrast, plenty of inputs, excellent blacks for an LCD, no dead pixels, no hot pixels, no stuck pixels, no ghosting, no backlight blur, no banding...
