I have Gigabyte X48-DQ6 and a ASUS Maximus II Formula . And I have a E7300 and a E6850. Which CPU would you put with which board? Thanks.
BTW - I will overclock (learn to !!) but nothing too nuts.
Thanks guys. I just sold that video card and the guy said he wasn't sure it was going to fit in his case when he picked it up. I had sent him pictures of it but he's more newb than me ! He couldn't remember the exact name of his case but he was sure it was an Antec and it came with a 380W power...
I have a Gigabyte HD 4870 and was getting between 69C and 71C at idle. Made speed to 30% and now it's at 42C. When I try 40% it goes to 32C !!!
Thanks.
Careful some boards are picky with OCZ ram. Maybe just get 8gb ram. And intead of quad get e8400 or e8500. The money you save can be put towards a better quality monitor and/or modular power supply.
Hey. I just finished putting a new pc together and I'm running Prime95. I have a E4500. Core Temp is giving me temps of 54/55 for each core and I'm currently at test 7. Are those temps safe? What would be dangerous? Thanks.

Sorry I meant to start a new thread.
Since you're already using Corsair memory why not get a Corsair power supply?
Modular: Corsair CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX Triple 12V 50A 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply 120MM Fan 2X PCI-E
Regular: Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan
A local shop here near Ottawa (Yes Canada) has E8200, E8400 and E8500 in stock. i believe they ship anywhere in Canada. And they price match.

Can't you read? He was told by BFG that it would take 15 to 20 days to process it once it was received. Can't blame Canada for that.
Anytime anything like pc hardware is shipped and has to go through customs it's always delayed a bit. No getting around that. And it doesn't matter if it's...
More and more people are having problems with their Abit IP35 Pro. Plus Abit's support is the absolute worse. So hope you don't have to RMA.
BTW - I haven't had any problems (yet !) with my Abit IP35 Pro.
