Hi guys, I've just plugged a mobo in that I've just received and I want to know if you think its dead. Basically I've now got it set up outside of the box, with CPU and memory installed. I get no beeps and the only sign of life is the CPU fan. Dead or what?

Yes there have been no beeps. When I first powered the box up, I took the RAM out and it gave me a pretty long loud beep. But after that I've had no beeps at all when the RAM's been out. I've tested each stick on their own, but still the mobo doesn't post.

You could try using wireshark to find out what ports its using and then set firewall rules accordingly.

You can always try it. I'm no expert but I'd have thought anyone with a wireless card could sniff the packets by just downloading wireshark along with the airpcap stuff. As for online banking over the air, excuse me for being paranoid - but are you mad!

Whats your current setup? If you've already got a router to share your internet then you can just set the computer that the printer is hanging off to be a print server. No need to buy waste your money on a dedicated print server.
