Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What makes you think the guberment would keep funding at the current level if this started happening? The first thing they would do is cut it. Do you think they would then lower taxes? Uh nooo that's not how it works.
Don't forget to unplug your network cables and modems. A guy I knew unplugged his computers during storms. It was funny (not for him) He had unplugged his computer, router and modem from power in his house. The lightning hit and went through his big calculator - jumped across to his external...
As another poster already mentioned. A lot of manufactures were having capacitor issues during this time frame. I don't remember model numbers but Gateway was another big company having known issues. And this wasn't restricted to Intel boards. Sounds to me like Dell needs a better document...
I highly recommend any responsible gun owner or non/moron with a gun owning friend stop buy your local computer repair shop and ask for an old dead computer. Find a private range or safe area and take out your aggression. It's tons of fun and an easy way to safely relive pent up technology...
I think you should stop here. Or we will have to come up with something better to say than "your talking out of your ass without any real world experience"
Your talking about the surface area of a .22 vs 9mm. And yes more surface area does allow the bullet to stop faster but the kinetic...
NOT true. I still have an 8800GT 512 that I would love to be able to purchase a new second card for SLI. 9800GT=8800GT=GTS 240 = no cheap SLI options for the future
Do what gushpinbob said first - if you need help understanding whats in event viewer just ask. -it can be a real pain when you first learn how to read it-
I would bet that it is a driver. - go to the manufacture website for your computer and update all of your hardware drivers. Keep us posted
Its hard to understand what you mean by plugging it in backwards but that doesn't matter just make sure you have the correct pins in the correct spots and it will work fine. Match the pins where they are on the standard connector to the other connector.

LMAO ^^^^
Use either a POWERED usb hub or plug your hard drive directly into the computer. I'm assuming your external is the 2.5" laptop drive type and that your not forgetting to use the power adapter that came with the 3.5" drive types.
Still laughing--
NO and NO

Another use is with APC uninterruptible power supplies. In this case, it is a keyed 10P10C plug wit a protrusion on the pin 1 side near the back, it serves only to make the USB connection to the PC incompatible, forcing users...
I use Norton Ghost - you can find free programs but you will need one that you can install your raid controller card driver to so that it will see the array. BTW raid is a lot more complicated than you described and until you get to the maximum speed of your hard drive controller raid will be...
