So i've had my 1st Edition Bundle since the 17th. I bought it, Uncharted & Rayman, then bought Escape Plan on PSN. So far i've beat Uncharted, i'm working through Rayman & Escape Plan and I downloaded some demos (Mod Nation Road Trip & Unit 13). Uncharted was awesome, as they all are. Yes the controls got a little annoying at times, but I had a genuinely great experience with the game. Rayman & Escape Plan are also tons of fun. The demo for Unit 13 though completely blew me away! Definitely buying it tomorrow. Overall very happy with my purchase and I can see getting some serious use out of this thing.

BTW, yes I did say I have the 1st edition and didn't mention Little Deviants. The game is HORRIBLE. I really regret getting the 1st edition just because of that game, though I do like the limited edition hardcase that came with it. I also have not use the 3G at all, strictly wifi.

Has anyone found a way to charge the PSV using a USB port on a computer, or possibly an external battery with a USB port?

charges fine on my computer through usb port. Faster if you turn your vita off.

Mutant Blobs might be the best 7.99 i ever spent on a game anywhere. And im not one to remotely enjoy those types of games.
 
I've found a couple sites that mention streaming from Netflix and media center PC. The Netflix is a no brainer, but I haven't found any detail about streaming from a media center PC. Is this truly possible and, if it is, how was the experience?
 
Guys make sure you get on the PS Store today, I believe you will be able to download the RC car game for FREE today only. Correct me if I am wrong. Im at work and forgot to check in the morning before I left.

not updated yet. Usually not till about 4-5pm CST seems to be when psn goes live.

RIght now the only way to stream from your PC is by using the Remote Play. In conjunction with PS3 Media server (dlna) i streamed HD content easily and very high quality over remote play to the vita.
 
A buddy of mine was saying something about Motorstorm only being free if you had a Playstation+ account. Is there anything to that? I let my account lapse because I never used it.

only requirement is that you access to psn store from your vita with NA account
 
Anyone know if the RC game is up yet?

Just got MLB The Show!

Graphics are amazing and the gameplay feels almost as good as the PS3 version. Going to be awesome continuing my franchise on the PS3 after playing on the vita.

Not yet. Waiting for the store to update so i can buy MLB and pick up the RC.
 
usually arent this late on psn updates, hurry up already!
 
Found it...but wow is the download slow as hell.

Search 'Motorstorm' now and you'll see it and a ton of DLC

Thanks for the info, 4saken. That's what I was afraid of. I don't have a PS3. Bummer. It would be great if the Vita could interface directly to a media server. All these companies seem to want you to buy every one of their devices. Can't wait to see what the hacking community is able to do with this.
 
Just a heads up to anyone with a Sony Card.
If you log into your Sony Rewards account there is a promotion where if you cash in 5,000 points you get 5,000 points back.
I happened to have around 8k points so I got Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf for the Vita in anticipation of getting one. Then when I get the 5k points I can get another game for free.
I also took advantage of a NFL card promo which gives $200 (rewards toward stament credit) which I will buy the Vita with. Yes, I am a cheap bastard.
 
Kinda dumb I know, but I just got Persona 3 off the PSN store (40 bucks!!! Talk about cutthroat.) and have been playing that to the exclusion of everything else. Missed it the last time round and am wondering why. Its awesome.
 
Sega confirmed Phantasy Star Online 2 for Vita next year.
Hype level at critical mass.
 
Don't think the vita would make a good phone, just way too bulky ... Maybe some VOIP service when you are sitting around or something but don't see myself carrying it everywhere.

UNIT 13 is great, also enjoying Dungeon hunter a lot!

I was thinking of picking up Unit 13. Is there any online multiplayer?
 
Online co-op ... haven't played online yet though. Did try dungeon Hunter multiplayer and it was pretty cool.

Worth every penny.

Persona 4 will be coming out on Vita sometime and its even better than persona 3 and in my opinion its on par with the great RPG's like FF6&7, Chrono trigger, and xenogears.
 
I just got a wifi psp vita with rodnations 8gb card, now the guy from craiglist he bought it on launch day local gamestop said theres a free game to download off psn is this true?
 
The free PSN game is only available for people with the 3G Vita who complete a month's worth of service with AT&T. I believe it's Super Stardust Delta.
