I guess the admin who was involved didnt think he was doing anything wrong.

Me and Dyn are the tnt expert on the server , use it wisely PLEASE.
 
Do we have any idea of how many is too many to fire off at once?

When clearing out my lair I'd do batches of about 15 TNT at a time.
 
BTW, anyone play LoL? I've been getting into it. Very interesting game...

Dp; I'm looking at the music player and I can't figure out a few things about how it's set up. Why so many repeaters for the pistons?

Also, as far as it being slow is concerned; There's nothing that can be done about that. Even the one on youtube built in SSP was slow, so the only possibility for ours is that it will be even slower. Depending on how laggy the server is, it might be so slow that the machine doesn't work properly, or it might just be so slow that it doesn't sound like music.
 
Haven't been on much because I set up a private server to host a world for my niece and nephew. After using all the bukkit commands for so long it is hard to go back to grinding materials. :)

yes , but its more rewarding. Come back and play with us , youll see the game in a new way like i did.
 
I haven't been on because Minecraft would cause a driver failure every hour or so, so I just eventually gave up and stopped playing.

Updated to 11.7 drivers, seems to be working fine. Expect to see me on more.
 
So I have a question... whos the dirtbag who went to my home and went into my personal mob zoo and stole 2 of my mob spawners and then proceeded to destroy some of the redstone circuit, so now i cant even enter it to fix it because they keep spawning like mad now...
 
Dig up from underneath and remove the spawners. Then warp away. If noone else is close then there should be minimal mobs when you return.

This, or you can run in there, repair the redstone, and warp away and make sure nobody else is nearby. I had to do this after I activated my basement in the city :p

If the spawners have been removed but critters keep spawning, about the only thing you can do to (temporarily) stop the spawning is a lot of light.

The real question is why people feel free to destroy your stuff.

Agreed. I know you've ruffled some feathers (my own included), but that's no excuse for people to destroy your stuff.
 
Exactly i like to bust chops and what not, but ive never destroyed anybody elses stuff... if it was a creeper that blew (which has happened) there would be a lot more damage, but 1 block and 2 spawners are missing (i removed a block on the roof, to try and build form above, but too many mobs to do it)
 
Put that diamond armor to good use. :)

[edit] I'm willing to contract as a bodyguard if you catch me online. :D

Hell last time i ran in there i had diamond armor AND i was eating golden apples non-stop and that was using someone else as a decoy.
 
I'd like to give this a shot and be a builder on the server. I played around in single player for about 14 hrs total and now I want to play with the [H] crew. My username is the same as my [H] forum name; thebeelzebub.

Vycor, I looked at your zoo, I did not see any problems. I guess you already fixed it.

Beezle, FYI, we are having some lag issues at the moment, so don't freak out if you experience some.
 
Vycor's zoo is going crazy. When we removed all the spawners and lights, a bunch of monsters spawned instantly. When lights are added back, the spawning stops. Remove lights and they start spawning again.
 
Yeah what he said, just came on to say the same thing. It was INSTANT. As soon as you removed the lights BAM you got like 10+ mobs spawning at once.

Ive removed the spawners but left the sturcture up. Im afraid to take it down because then there are no walls to protect the mobs from going out

BTW this is the zoo at my house, the one at corsair still works fine
 
Ok, when I get home I will check it out. Vycor, make sure you invite me to your home.
