Top Nurse said:Okay refresh my memory about the USB thing. Is pin 1 (left pin looking from back of unit) hot or ground?

Happy Hopping said:Does the Zalman reservator works w/ the Aqua water block (CPU & GPU)? Has anyone done it w/ some pic. perhaps?
If so, what would be a kit consists of?
Also, I was at aqua web site, how can their GPU water block be big enough to cover the surface of a FX4400 GPU?
ShoNuff said:Pin 1 is hot (+5v). Take a look at your A8N-SLI Deluxe user guide on page 2-24. There is a good diagram there.
Top Nurse said:Funny you should ask about the Zalman Reserator right now. I was just discussing with Wes at Sharka Corp a couple of days ago about how much better we thought the Reserator would work with some Aqua Computer blocks and some mods to the Reserator itself. Have you ever seen a Cuplex Evo cooler that is blue? Looks almost the same color as Zalman Blue! And the Blue color Aquatube's also match the Reserator very well. Personally I think anyone who owns a Reserator might want to give serious consideration to contacting Wes about getting an AquaBay AT and an Aquatube

I'm just looking for some good opinions....
Thanks
Happy Hopping said:But would the diameter of the tube & the fitting be the same btwn. Aqua CPU cooler,. GPU cooler vs. Zalman tubing?
And while I'm at it, has anyone uses these water cooling tubing and it leaks? How often does that happens?
R1ckCa1n said:Perfect!!! Post the results!
Hot days like today are the reason I have AC in my house.
mashie said:It started about a year after the installation. I have the UV reactive blue tube now. We will see in a year if it is better.

The leakage is caused by the tubbing you used. The glas-clear tube is very hard and this causes the problems.
I would like to send you some of our new tubing which is much much better.
Please try this - you'll have no problems.
Best Regards,

WARNING TO BUYERS
After a few very heated posts (pages of posts to be honest) on the SNT-systems forum regarding the lack of response to customers asking for credit on product never shipped, the entire SNT store and forum is now broken. I don't know if this is a sign of things to come for SNT or if the server simply crashed. edit - the site is up with no response from Dan over the issues.
What is came down to is a few customers got tired of waiting upwards of three months for product already paid for but never delivered. With repeated requests for re-payment on product never shipped, they were getting either no answer or just lip service. With two customers asking for almost $2,000.00 in payment I assume Dan can not come up with the money. Dan has had almost three weeks to address the HUGE concern customers have over his ability to respond and provide services/product paid for in advance.
With all of this happening, I can not recommend anyone place an order with SNT until the level of service is up to what we customers expect. In the meanwhile, www.sharkacorp.com is not only stocking product, but ordering on a regular basis. Since I have not only ordered and received product from sharka as well as personally know Wes, I must say they are the only US etailer to offer Aqua Computer products.
Top Nurse said:Have no idea and I don't no anyone else either. Can you please post the complete original letter or reference a link so we can see what it was all about? Please have Mashie post here as he is a moderator on the [H]ardForum and the letter appears to be addressed to him.
Happy Hopping said:if you bought it via credit card, as long as you haven't receice it, just say to your cr. card co. that you mail order it, but still didn't receive it. you'll get your cr. back.
don't tell them it was a deposit , just say it's a mail order.

I just start reading this thread. It's on page 49 of this very same thread.
Happy Hopping said:ON the Right side, next to the word patent pending, what is that water block cooling? Clearly it is not a CPU.
As well, for a unit like this pic., if you have water cooling for the above, would you still need the cooling fan for the overall system, presumably the cooling fan cools the hard drive, cd-rom, dvd drive, MB, etc.
Maybe I give you mine and see if it will flash?Top Nurse said:Well do you want the long version or the short version?
Good night!
Added: Okay that wasn't very nice was itI couldn't sleep till I told ya
I have O.S. 2.03 VFD on firmware 4.05E currently running on my Aquaero. The AquaSuite version Beta 4.1 is running as well as I can tell. I don't have anything hooked up to it as I just hooked it up to this computer to flash it for you. When I shut down tonight it goes in my V2000B that I am still building. However, it does readout in English on the display.
A quick tip though! Check out my previous post about the Asus settings on the MB about the USB power being set at +5 VSB and see if it changes anything. Also when I was at Sharka Friday afternoon there was only 1 Aquaero left in stock and it may have sold over the weekend. So make sure you talk to Wes about any warranty exchanges you can talk him out of ASAP. I figure if he sells that one it will be at least 10 days before anymore show up here in the states.![]()

I tried it on my new DFI NF4 SLI board () with the same results. I wonder if it has anything to do with it being on USB7 or 8 all the time.....

i think the bubble will never go away, i have combine the aqua stream with DDC and its so powerful that even when i fill the aquatube to the top, it still makes bubble
the only solution is to install my mora2 pro x2 to kill the flow!
ITop Nurse said:Well try on another USB header and if that doesn't work you can come over to my place today and we can see if it will flash on my rig. PM me for my phone and address if you want to do that.
If not then drop it off at Sharka Monday and I will see if I can flash it for you. I know you will be over there for the Shark feeding frenzy when all that A-C gear shows up, right?![]()

I will drop it off on Monday for sure!@!!!! Would like to see if it works on your computer.

Happy Hopping said:how often do you need to re-fill the water? And I'm not just referring to the A-C set up, any other water cooling such as the Zalman reservator. Are we looking at once a mth. or once or twice a year?
Happy Hopping said:that's good to hear. Whenever Wes has perfected the compatible issue w/ A-C cpu/gpu cooling fan in conjunction w/ the Zalman, and have enough members here or any other Over Clock forums try out the above, I would be very interested in buying the whole kit from him.
But I still have to find a compatible video cooling solution that works on the FX4400.
