Well, I can't tell you that much. They would kill me

Only one tip: forget everything you have heard or seen about the Multiswitch

Aqua Computer: "We are about to release a brand new product that will blow you away!"

Us: "Wow, great! What does it do?"

Aqua Computer: "We can't tell you"

Can people post some pics of their Aquatube/aquajet mounted in the aquabay and on the top case panel including the backside where the fittings attach? Try to decide how I want to mount mine. Thanks

If you backtrack a bit in this thread you will find everything you are looking for. :) Or go here to ModSquad's project log over on Bit-Tech.

The latest Aqua Computer Sharka shipment is sitting over at LAX right now going through U.S. customs. Hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow afternoon, but if not then it would be Monday morning. Here is some of the loot that made it here on this shipment. If you've been looking for some Aquadrives, Airplex Evo rads, AquagraFX 6800 rev 2 or AquagratiX 800/850 vga coolers, Twinplex's, Cuplex XT's, or colored Aquatubes then this is the place you want to be right now. :D

I also think the bulkhead fittings and 10mm barbs are here as well as the silver and black aluminum face plates for the Aquaero and Aquastream. All the extra goodies for the Aquaero made it too. They are also now stocking replacement controllers for Aquastreams in case you have some problems in that area that you don't want to make a trip to Germany to fix ;)

[/music]

I got my new case (V2100B) from Newegg and AC stuff from it-trade this week, yay! I hope to at least get the radiator and aquatube installed this weekend. Hopefully my cuplex XT, tubing and additional fittings from Sharka will come arrive by next weekend so that I can get everything running. After examining the aquatube I have one question. There doesnt seem to be a way to fill the system with the aquajet installed unless I am overlooking something stupid. Is there a way to fill the system with the aquajet installed or do you have to use another fitting, fill the system, then cap the tube and flip the thing over and install the jet?

I bought the Aqua Computer Aquaero R3.07 w/ VFD Multi Function Control Panel from sharka and wondered what else is there I need to buy ?

The Aquajet willl not have an impact on filling your system. Just remove the cap on the front of the Aquatube (held on by five screws) and fill your system. Chances are that you are going to have to repeat the process a couple of times depending on where you mounted (or plan to mount) your Aquatube.

I am very interested in that box on the top shelf, 2nd from the left. What do you think are chances are of going to LAX and getting it ourselves? Can you meet me there in...let's say...an hour? :p

Here's a Sharka tip that Wes told me about:

Get a 10mm x 1/8 BSPP hose barb (in this shipment) and screw it into the Aquatube. Attach 3/8" plastic tube up to a Danger Den Fill Port that you can mount in the top of the case. Then you can easily fill and bleed your system without any of this happy horseshit of taking the Aquatube's plexi top on and off. :D

I asked Wes if I could pick it up for you and "send" it to you ;)

Yes, a few of those boxes have my name on them as well (nothing in silver though)..It feels a little strange to not have any problems getting AC stuff. BUT I like the feeling.. :D

Ohh...not the question you really wanted to know  Sounds like more $$ disappearing from your bank account. ;)

Well the Aquaero comes with 4 temp probes that can be fastened to various things. You can also measure coolant temps, monitor flow with a flowmeter, attach a standby power source to the Aquaero, and get silver and black aluminum faceplates to use instead of the stainless steel stock one. :D

You can also download the Aqua Suite software and flash your firmware with software available free at the German A-C site under Support: Downloads. Please ask Shoggy for directions or go back a few pages on this thread.

OOHHH GSMTA ... That is exactly how I have mine installed except I used 7/16" ID tubing. 3/8" seemed to tight for the 1/2" barb on the fillport.

Did you get a 1/8 BSPP 90 degree (bent) fitting? See my other reply ^^^

I'm sure that works too! Or put end of tube in boiling H20 till it is soft and jam it on the barb. I guarantee it won't come off unless you cut it off. :p

Now that really got your attention didn't it? Many good things might be coming to the Aqua-Fanz!

What would you all think of a nice Aqua Computer Evo 360 or an Evo 240 stainless steel grill that was already drilled for the Hardware Labs Black Ice series of radiators? Sweet huh?

Well assuming I can finish talking a certain party into ordering them I would look to be able to buy this item in 90-120 days. This would be a ready to roll bolt in grill special edition specifically for us poor Americans that have to put up with those terrible Black Ice rads ;)

Sorry for the double post, but I figure a lot of people wouldn't see this outside or inside this thread. ;)

If your interested in a Silver XT Edition (limited to 100 pcs) I think that another one, two, or ? :D could be added to the current order seeing how as A-C hasn't run our orders yet. I believe the Silver TwinPlex's are available with a 2-3 day lead time + shipping out of Germany.

BTW, I think Sharka and IT-Trade are working things out so small shipments inbetween the big stock orders can be easily taken care of. :) Somebody wanted an 1800 Evo rad which I think is coming out that way.

Item #1 is readily available at just about any electronic store. They call them stand-offs.

Item # 2 and # 3: Looks nice!

edit: If you order the stand-offs make sure you get them in the correct metric threads! I think they are 3mm ;)

Good idea with the DD fill port, I think Im going to do that. That was the one thing I was worried about but that is a great idea! Way to go ! :D

Ahh ok, so basically just cover the tube as long as water is squirting out of the jet. Gotcha.

No :( . The only extra fittings I got were 1/4" bent fittings for my radiator. This is still a good idea, I'd have to order the Danger Den Fill Port anyway, so if I decide to go this route I can just order everything at once. My order from Sharka probably hasnt shipped yet since the shipment hasn't arrived (or only recently arrived) from Germany, so I can probably get these items added before it ships. I'll give it some thought. Thanks for the suggestion :) .

I was just over on the A-C forum in Germany and thought you might be interested in some recent developments on Aqua Computer products in the USA. Go to http://www.aqua-computer.de/ and navigate to the local stores frame. Scroll down to the USA flag and take a gander. When they update the English site it will be changed there as well.

I was at Sharka at 1630 PST and it didn't come. So I would look for a Monday delivery as their stuff generaly goes through US Customs in about 24-36 hours. So Monday is the next business day. The fitting you will need is at least one 1/8 BSPP 90 degree Plug & Cool elbow if you are using an AquaBay AT. However I would recommend you get two of them just for ease of use. If you are mounting vertical then the elbows are just for ease of installation. :)

Great question. It has been said he answered a few emails this week and even refunded one order (the guy was pleading with Dan on his own forum) but has yet to make an appearance. You would think he would at least check in on his own forum to say he is alive and kicking.

Maybe his business partner, Bitchbreaker, will chim in and give us the answer.

Unknown  Since they have that deal set up with PolarFlo where people can order their stuff through SNT and PolarFlo ships direct I assume they will stay open as it is just money rolling in. That is assuming of course that they can continue to fund their website bill payments. I would think that they would also try and sell off any inventory they have to get the capital necessary to pay off cutomers or possibly fund any future business transactions. They might also see if they can liquidate the several state-of-the-art game servers that Dan and Captin Insano claimed SNT had a while back. Now whether people will continue to buy from someone who tries to make themselves scarce whenever there are problems is another unknown.

I wouldn't read too much into the change at the A-C site. I just think A-C was getting leery of continuing to recommend SNT whan they couldn't even fund their imports, owed money to customers, and blamed the slow deliveries on A-C and IT-Trade.

The only thing I do know is that IT-Trade wanted to see if they could do anything to see about getting special ordered products to former SNT customers through Sharka. That was the point of post # 1918 to see if those customers still wanted the stuff as if they don't or don't respond then they intend to return it to manufacturer stock (some have already contacted me). I 'm pretty sure all of those VGA cards (6800 rev 2 & ATi 800/850) will be in the next Sharka shipment and perhaps all of it. If you want to know more than that call or e-mail Wes as he writes his companies checks and I just buy stuff there. :D

Another unknown is whether SNT will at some time, if they can clean up their financial problems, be able to buy A-C gear again. I do know that the day is long gone where anyone will be willing to give him money upfront to fund his importation of A-C goods.

It is probably unlikely that BitchBreaker will be posting here anytime soon as I understand he is also out of touch, visiting his father I believe, in the South somewhere for a few weeks. I gather there is no or very limited internet service where he is staying according to some posts made on the SNT site a few days ago. There also seems to be hardly any posting going on at the SNT forum even in the gaming areas. So either there is a big CAL game going on somewhere, everyone is at E3, or the rats are deserting the ship. ;)

As I said earlier the only thing we know for sure is that A-C is in the process of taking SNT off their website. Since I don't expect that A-C is going to make any statements about this we can only wait to see if Dan decides to say something or the site goes down. On that note I have noticed over the last 24-48 hours that the SNT site is getting slower and sometimes does not respond at all. Again this could mean that there is just some problem in the data line, a server farm problem, or it could mean something entirely else, but who really knows what is going on?

What do you want engraved? I suppose we could put on it "my last buck" or something equally audacious. ;)

Aqua Computer!!! Quit screwing around and make are dang Silver XT's! There do you feel better now? I think a better idea is to talk some of our friends here into ordering some Silver XT's then we can really rag on them for delivery. :p

Good idea.... Lets hope the mods agree.

Mods don't agree on the idea for an A-C or German watercooling forum. :( They do agree that people should use the search function and then all would be plain for all to see. SO perhaps the best solution was the one for separate threads all referenced together on the first post of each thread. :)

Hmm, I was heading over to snt systems to get some prices and their webpage doesn't even load anymore....

Okay I have finally taken pity on your poor suffering Aquaero. I will flash mine later today as it is to hot to work on cutting computer cases up and besides I still need some stuff sitting over at LAX. So I will post later today about the results. :D

Danny/SNT is still alive and kicking. I ordered two of the metal plug and cool fittings from him about a week ago and I got them today via USPS. :) So, I guess it is safe to order what he has in stock.

A few days ago I was gabbing with Franz and I told him that I thought the metal elbows and T's were for rich folks and the plastic ones were for poor folks. ;) I forgot that putting metal fittings near electronic components can be a bad idea. :D

It better not be or a small tactical nuke will be dropping on Berlin later today.
