how many evo 240 grills are available? i'd like to put dibs on 1 and order next thursday on my paycheck day.

I do believe that it does include weekends. I may also still have some 240mm grills available to be purchased by the time they arrive if anyone else was interested. :)

-Dan

how much did all that stuff run you?

bah don't mind me, i'm just jealous actually because i had planned to polish the inside of my case as well.

in fact, i think once we're both done we'll have pretty competetive systems except that i'm using AMD instead of Intel. what rad did you get to use 3 fans? i got the thermochill 120.3 and need am waiting on that same grill.

also

Dan,

are you able to get additional fittings for the aquatube? i'm thinking i may need another pair of fittings (10mm) if they're not too tough to come by.

i must have spent 1000 on w/c alone in all, i sold my house in london before i came over and london makes ny look cheap, so i made out.
and im all about looks and performance - im not one of these people who can use a old plastic pot for a res, im happy to pay for looks.

and the hardware to me was all cheap - hell i come from england, its 7$ for a gallon of gas and a 6800 gt is about 600$, so i was liek a kid in a sweetshop.

im using panaflo m's devil, he he i was thinking jeeze this is my second post and im getting a whipping, really friendly this place ;)

im using this rad here, but just the 2 fan one, mines not on there at the moment
http://snt-systems.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_30&products_id=119

my rads external so i polised up the case the rads in, put 3 fans on the bottom, and made a metal shroud to cover all the fans at the bottom and used speaker spikes for feet.

the grill is going to be held on using gold thumbscrews (as my case is the shiny black gloss cm black widow), and i have one cold cathode at the bottom to give it a nice little glow, it has to be the thunbscres like from svc that have no screw head as they are the only ones that have a long enough thread to secure it.

yeah it makes a real diff polishing, its the thing you will never do unless your unemployed (thanks us immigration) but really worth it, pepboys has good 3m stuff all the way up to 2000 grit.

when done ill stick a few pics up.

yeah im seriously pushing for 4 gig plus on my 3.2e, its a d0 stepping so fingers crossed.

Hey SNT Man,

Does the Aquero software play nice with XP SP2? Maybe a better question would be, have you heard of any problems using the Aquero USB software v 1.05.2 that you know of?

[S]nt|Mods said:
The software is compatible with SP2, I havent had a single problem yet.

I would like to verify that for myself. Please send Sick Rig 001 my way and I post my findings here. We'll OK, you don't have to send the whole thing. Just send me the Raptors. :p

Me Too! Dan promised to give me his 74g Raptors if I posted in this thread.

No, seriously, I will probably upgrade to a pair of 74g Raptors soon. My 36g's are still doing well and working flawlessly.

This isn't bad news is it?:

ADDITIONAL CLEARING AGENCY INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR CLEARANCE

Nope it isnt bad news cause Im already on top of it, its still set to be delivered by the end of day on the 20th. This is what I was told by UPS's customer support rep. :)

-Dan

I worked for UPS for 6 years and they are the only thing standing between me and my evo 240 grill that i cant use on my case now, but will when i do a 3/8 system. We are never going to get it  oh ya Dan i tried to use the aqua tube with 1/2 went bad, temps shot up 10c more then my pvc res. If i do a 3/8 sytsem later this month (low flow style) do you think it would be better. I would like to do a whole aqua computer, brushing up on my German! Thanks man

It seems odd to me that a reservoir would do that to your temps, has anything else changed?
Did you perform the 1/2" mod on the aquatube or did you just use it as is?

I didn't know it was possible to mod the aqua reservoir to 1/2". If it is I'd be really interested in buying one and using that instead of the DD bay res. How much do you sell them for and how difficult and/or effective is the mod?

BTW, does the evo 240 grill come with a template?

they would have to be taken to your local machine shop to bore open at least two of the holes and retapped for the larger 1/4" thread type fittings instead of the 1/8" it comes with.

The Aquatube sells for about $70 and the Airplex grill comes with the template.

-Dan

Hey Dan im tooled up to do the Mod to the resi,Ill do the mods on order for SNT so the deal is if u want this to come on your resi guys u tell Dan u want a pre moded resi..i machine it..Dan sells it.Keeps it all simple and i get to keep my stress free life.

So basically, if anyone wants an Aquatube moded for a 1/2" system.....Just let me know and I can now take care of you. The mod will be $20 plus the cost of fittings, this will take care of two holes on the rear of the reservoir by default. The face fitting holes can be modified for those who wish to use them too.

If anyone is interested just let myself and BitchBreaker know.

Hell yes I'm interested, but what exactly is the face fitting holes? I'll paypal u the cash tonight if u have some modded ones ready by the time you ship my order for the other stuff.

I only have a Red Aquatube available right now but I'll have more to work with this next week of course. The "face fitting" holes are the 3 holes that are located on the round surface of the tube itself.

The below pic shows the location.

Let me know! :)

I'd like a regular colored one if you're going to have it by this coming week. BTW do I need modded face fittings if all I plan to do is just use the two 1/2" tubes with it and fit the thing up top in my case along with the evo 240 grill like this guys setup:

I know my questions are pretty noob but this is my 1st WC setup so I'm still picking up on the details.

Most often people use the rear fittings locations for there tubing needs unless you were against running the tubes down into your case due to clearance issues. You'll have to check what clearances you'd have beside the location where you would mount the Aquatube.

Ok sent you a PM.

This is what I have learned from my distributor regarding the UPS stall in Austria. This is taken from his email to me.

These idiots did contact me because:
1st: there are multitools in it with a "0"-amount on the invoice
I told them that these are from backorder and have no value any more.

2nd: there are 11 multitools in it and only 10 on the invoice.
This is just a gift because you were waiting so long,
and now these guys make trouble because of it :(

I figured it would be a problem soon as I saw that. Did he manage to get it squared away?

Its still on schedule though. Screwed up that they care so much about those tiny items but still on schedule.

Do I need to email you about this? I already spoke to dan over PM about him sending me a modded silver aquatube (1/2"), jet and blue led with an existing order I have.
