What is better about that stand? Doesn't the one it comes with have height, tilt, and swivel adjusts already?

Yeah, you're screwed. A big rule with multi-display setup is try and keep each screen the same brand and model. Otherwise you get what you're dealing with now. I'm not sure what I'd do with what you have other than sell the screens and start buying same-brand displays... Sorry dude!!

Looks like the other stand has a smaller footprint (although it would make me personally nervous about it tipping over).

nah fabbing a mount to fix it wont be that bad.

I suppose to could try and CL the shimian for about what a QNIX cost, but probably not worth the hassle since its not a Dell or Apple

Here's mine. I know, its mismatched unlike most of your setups.

    U3011 for pc gaming.
mid U2711 for browsing, fb, music, etc. while gaming.
right U7211 for ps3 gaming while pc gaming and browsing.

    lol jokes.

Actually that's exactly what I tried at first, but unfortunately my two tables aren't level, so it was impossible to make the borders of the 30" monitor and the 27" monitors line up due to that, and so it drove me even more nuts!

Somehow, I was able to line it up better with the two 27"s on different tables.

Still, something about having the two 27"s side by side was better than separating them and having a pyramid effect LOL.

That lava lamp collection is phenomenal! Your wiring skills are sublime as well, all those powered up and I barely see one cable under the desk.
