Filthy said:Will do thanks man, good to be here. The good thing is i think this card might still have a bit left in it. Ill try for your clocks, but damn, thats impressive, hope it went to a good home and not up in smoke.
cornelious0_0 said:I'm plenty pleased though, cus I got a real gem of an overclocker in this X800XT-PE also.
better yet, he should sell his finger on ebayFilthy said:I think you should hire yourself out to push the enter key when people order cards,,,seems some people have all the luck

Xxplosiv said:update on my OC: i am now running at 450/1200 stable, these new drivers fixed the probs i was having in C&C generals zero hour and i get no artifacts after running 3dm05 looped for 7 hours straight. no volt mods or anything, just replaced the reference heatsink/fan with a gpu waterblock from koolance and little tiny square ramsinks. me <3 koolance

ElementK said:Which GT is the best overclocker?
ElementK said:So the silencer would improve my overclocks? I'm liking the XFX.
ElementK said:I don't have it yet...sorry if I was confusing. I'm just looking at my options. ould you recommend the XFX?
Matrices said:Anyone who is running the Coolbits that gives you two options - 2D/3D - notice that only the core speed setting is independent? If you adjust the memory setting on 3D, it changes on 2D as well, and vice versa. Kind of nullifies the whole point...
the_village_treky said:you deffinatly dont need a 4ghz cpu to run and take advantage of those settings(it doesnt matter what cpu you have, every little bit helps)
peacetilence said:There has to be a bottleneck somewhere right? I mean these cards bottleneck the fastest cpus don't they? I overclock pretty much everything in my pc and didn't notice a significant improvement in fps with that high of an overclock. Not enough to justify putting that much strain on the card anyways. 2 fps isn't enough for me to risk burning out a 400 dollar card ATM. I'll probably start fooling around with it again in the future when the speed could be of more benefit though.
Circuitbreaker8 said:Whoa, didnt know you changed from that 2.8C and 6800 GT cornelious I'm also thinking about switching from my 6800 GT to a x800xt-pe ( if I can find one ) ANd how is that PSU, I just ordered one
cornelious0_0 said:What can I say.....
The PSU performs as well as it looks, fricken outstanding
The CPU kix some serious a$$
The XT-PE I picked up is an overclocking beast, and is a SOOO much nicer card then my old GT, even with the GT at 450MHz I prefer the XT-PE...hands down.
Circuitbreaker8 said:Yeah, I think i'm gonna switch once I get the $$...I'm really not that impressed with this card at all. But I keep asking myself what the point of switching is lol, I've played all the next gen games, and they all suck. The only game i'm looking forward to is BF2, and that game got a serious graphical takedown, so I really dont know anymore...
