I know you joking but it probably is true
Oh I'm not joking, we all know its true. Really wish I was, would be fun to play a new Ultimate Alliance with the group.

Heh, and yet, some people still wonder why more games don't have demos .Glad they released a beta - now I know its definitely something I'm not going to purchase.
As long as the add-on characters are no more than like $15 per, it's all good.dataminers have seemingly unearthed information that suggests the game may feature as many as 15 additional heroes...alongside Spider-Man, who is a PlayStation exclusive, the list includes Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Kate Bishop, War Machine, Peter Parker, Ant-Man, Wasp, Vision, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Mar-Vell, Mockingbird, Quake, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch and Hulkbuster

Looks like Cyberpunk just got some serious competition for GOTY.
Shame, as a comics fan I was hoping it wouldn't be.idk, they kinda deserve it, the game is pretty trash.
absolutely, would have been great to get a modern ultimate alliance.Shame, as a comics fan I was hoping it wouldn't be.
I got a game code with my 10700k, worth the install?
Oof, thanks. So I should try to sell the code then it sounds like. The single player campaign is decent if you like the Avengers, but it’s hard to root for the non-movie and non-comic book knock off Avenger models they used for the game.
For multiplayer they took one of the most diverse and well known fantasy universes to a game about punching the robots and same two bosses until your fingers bleed. With bugs and broken gameplay systems.
I know this is an older post, but just wanted to point out that AMD literally owns x86.as if I needed another reason NOT to buy this complete debacle, Intel CPU-specific enhancements are a idea that needs to be put down vehemently and immediately. After years upon years of Intel favoring instructions/systems/features, I hoped that by now finally 3 generations of AMD Zen processors (soon to be 4) thriving would be enough to put this to rest. There's no reason that there should be a proprietary, not-really-technically-necessary benefit for one CPU or another when it comes to compiling this or playing that. From what is described, I bet that there will be a mod of some sort that unlocks the "Intel" features on most Ryzen/TR processors as I can't think of too many differences in instruction sets or features that would actually explain this; instead, its just simply a screw-you to AMD users. This is even more surprising given that all current AND next-gen consoles are based on AMD platforms, so this cannot be something innate or relied upon ; the only way it could be worse is to be Epic Store Exclusive!
Marvel's Avengers is looking like the worst of the "AAA" business sense and monetization. Even if it was a forgettable-but-fun "live service" game that would be one thing, but it plans to offer the "Fortnite style limited time cosmetics store", varying currencies including real money purchase stuff, "battle passes that are PER CHARACTER" at $15 last I heard (a way they can promise to give new characters away for free, yet if you want their unlocks you'll need to pay for their premium battle pass. I'm unsure if they have a general game-wide season style battle pass as well), the lack of Spider Man on every platform except for Sony's systems (I consider this particularly egregious - every other game will have less content! I kinda understand Sony platforms getting a SHORT period, days or weeks at most of free preview, but this is a critical, popular character and member of the Avengers ; its amazing that the devs let this slide rather than putting their foot down on Sony), pre-order bonuses, a "deluxe edition" that doesn't even include any season/battle pass content and instead just gives you some extra costumes, HUGE AMOUNTS OF COLLABORATIVE ADVERTISING including costumes for Verizon and the like (which of course does not lower the game's price in any way)... the list of garbage just keeps flowing out.
How disappointing. This is a property that could make a ton of money without all these exploitative elements, but its clear that everyone involved expects this to be spewing money from all ends while the customers/players get sprayed with shit.

roasted.Intel owns x86 (the name literally came from Intel's 8086 processor and its successors) AMD owns x64.
Cool... I might do the same. That kind of playtime is well worth it, especially since I'm a big marvel comics fan.Picked this up on GMG for $18 (XP summer sale 24% off code deal - still going on until 8/5 FYI) and don't regret it at all. The single player campaign and two 'expansions' gave me a solid 20 hours of gameplay. The graphics are quite nice, and the HDR was downright stunning. Lots of bright colors and effects that really pop. Definitely one of the best HDR PC game experiences I've had (other than the fact that it's yet another game that requires HDR enabled in Windows for it to work... blah).
